FRIDAY!! Happy Friday, Ladies! I’m joining my girls, Narci and Andrea, for Friday Favorites. You should join us! Every Friday we host a little link-up party where we ask you to blog some favorites (ANY favorites), link back to us, and then add your blog to our link-up. Super simple!
Today, I have a hodge-podge mix of favorites for you…
I found this picture of some of my FAVORITE girls. Dinner with these ladies is always a special treat. 🙂
I also just found this one from our trip to New York City! A FAVORITE night, for sure!
I love our Let’s Talk link-ups! We have another one coming up on Monday and we’re sharing all things hair and make-up! Your routine, favorite products, it doesn’t matter WHAT…we’re discussing it all!
On Tuesday, Tab got home just as we were sitting down to eat dinner. I could hold the savages back no longer. 🙂 As soon as we were finished eating, Nixon asked about when we’d get to go see the older boys play baseball. Tab looked up the schedule and five minutes later we were all piled in the car on the way to high school game. We usually don’t roll like that, but our kids had a great night.
This girl was passionate about cheering for Nixon’s basketball team. But with baseball, every field has a playground where all the siblings are playing. She’s never sat and watched the entire game with us. So, I looked over and she unpacked a book to read during the game. Hahaha! I asked her about watching and she said, “I don’t know anything about baseball”. Hilarious!
Have you guys heard about the Lumosity app? It’s an app full of brain games. Think memory, attention, and problem solving. If you just download the free app, you get three games daily to play as much or as little as you’d like. My mom and her sisters compete on some of those games. When she was visiting, my kiddos really got into playing.
On Wednesday night, we went with some friends to the Rangers’ game in Arlington. I hadn’t been to a game since I was pregnant with Bowen! The weather was amazing, our seats were great, and ballpark food is always a FAVORITE! Thank you, Snyders for the invite!
Proof!! Pregnant Erika was SO HOT at the ballpark in the summer!! August in Texas in the summer in the heat AND pregnant? I was a mess! 🙂
We made it to the very end to celebrate a Rangers’ victory! I don’t remember the last time I was still up at midnight!
I’m looking forward to spending my Friday evening at a tee-ball game. 🙂
Happy Friday, Friends! XOXO
Love that you went to that high school game, and I'm with Ebby Lee! There's always time to whip out your book and catch a few chapters!!
Dinner with friends is always one of my favorites too :).
Up at midnight on a Wednesday? I'd still be recovering! Going to a high school baseball game is a great idea, I think Carter would love that!
My Carly has spent pretty much her entire life going to baseball games and just when I think she is starting to love it she's like I'm so over baseball. We have traveled to Omaha for 3 summers in a row and I will talk about our vacation and she says "baseball is NOT a vacation". haha…baby sister probs. Hope you have a super weekend!
Love that EL brought her book ! Have a great weekend. Going to download that app now…I love games
One! I'm sure the boys loved watching those highschool boys play ball! So fun!!!

Thanks for going with us the game! And staying up super late. I'm actually still recovering 🙂 but had fun.
Ebby Lee!!!! Hahaha. Love that she took a book. She is turning into A little Rory Gilmore!!
Omg my mom is obsessed with Lumosity! Every time I go there she wants to show me how good she is at it and says she will never lose her mind bc of it! Ha Happy Weekend! xo, Kristina
Thank you, Ebby Lee!!! Yes, I don't understand anything about baseball either. My bf has season tickets and really good seats and I feel bad because they are so wasted on me. I wish I could give up my seat to a massive fan in the nosebleed seating section. He has tried to explain this game every season and I think I am missing a part of the brain where those rules click. I still don't follow. Plus there are waaaaaay too many games. And 9 innings just take too long!! I need a 3rd inning stretch, added to the 7th inning stretch.
You make baseball casual look great!
