Happy Friday! There’s just something about a short week…it’s like an optical illusion. You think it’s gonna go by quickly and it tends to drag on. That’s how I’m feeling this week, anyway. 🙂

The Lush dress I wore in our Christmas card picture is on sale in several colors for under $30.
I mean am I a baker or what? I must tell you that baking is NOT my thing, but I have never made one of Shay’s cakes that didn’t taste delicious. Ebby Lee and I whipped this strawberry cake right up for our family Valentine dinner. The recipe came out of my FAVORITE cake cookbook. We added some extra neon food coloring to the icing because Valentine’s Day and everyone gave it two-thumbs up. The boys grilled steaks. Girls made a big salad with cake for dessert. We were set!
This is my FAVORITE mail this week. I ordered this tankini top and wasn’t really sure what to expect, but it’s so cute in person. It’s a very sporty look but super age appropriate. I’m ready for that Disney Cruise so I can sport my new suit!
On Monday, there was NO SCHOOL, so I got to hang out with three of my FAVORITE guys at the park.
They had no fear. I was safely on the ground and my legs were shaking.

Bowen would still be at the park looking for them if I hadn’t called the game. 🙂
