First up, our FAVORITE from the week was celebrating Britt’s GOTCHA DAY! It’s so hard to believe it’s been just a year but this past Tuesday was one year since Britt was placed in our arms for the first time. I had big plans of us having this special dinner and just a few days before I scratched that idea. I decided Britt would rather play outside all evening than have a nice dinner out. So that’s just what we did. And I made these for dessert! YUM!

Earlier this week I shared my cutest two-year-old model in a variety of swimwear. {If you’re in the market for some cute baby swimwear, look no further.} I didn’t mention this suit, but it’s worth a mention for two reasons…1. Super cute! 2. And it has snaps so you don’t have to take the entire suit off to change a diaper! I’m gonna say that again. It SNAPS. I don’t think in my nine years as a mom, I’ve ever experienced a one piece swim suit that snaps. But, it’s GENIUS!

Those sloppy joe potatoes look delicious! I think your idea to scrap the fancy dinner and allow more play was a great one.
