Hey Friends!
We’re still suffering from post-Halloween fog over at our house. We had so much fun and I’m dying to share it all with you! First things first though, I’ve teamed up with my girls, Andrea and Narci, to bring you Friday Favorites. If you blog, you should join us!
Okay, now on to the festivities….
Britt’s preschool class celebrated Halloween on Tuesday afternoon with spooky pajama day and a little afternoon of treats.
For those of you who think I always have it together, here’s proof that I don’t. I thought her party started at 1:45 p.m. so I rolled in at 1:43 p.m. and noticed the kiddos’ plates were half eaten. I quietly asked another parent about the party start time. I was thirteen minutes late. Good news is Britty didn’t seem to mind. 🙂
That evening we played scary music in the driveway while carving pumpkins.
We had jack-o-lantern pizza from Papa Murphy’s for dinner. And Bowen said it was one of his best nights ever. 🙂 #winwin
Wednesday morning, we showed our Halloween Spirit. Well, some of us did. 🙂
Britty posed with Mr. Bones before heading to preschool. She was just a tad nervous about this.
I popped into the elementary school for kindergarten lunch duty and noticed Bowen’s art work on the wall. So cool!
Then it was time to get my Wednesday Addams on. 🙂
My in-laws came over for dinner…ghoul-ash and mummy dogs were served. Then our friends joined us for trick-or-treating! Special thanks to the in-laws for passing out candy while we hit up the neighborhood!
With my favorite Uncle Fester 🙂
The forecast showed RAIN, but around 6:15 it stopped raining and was the perfect night for trick-or-treating. It took one house for Britt to understand the concept of what this means…then she was ALL IN!
Bowen decided to wear last year’s costume again. I got him that blow-up T-Rex costume that’s so funny, but we had a slight mishap putting it on. Basically, I thought his head was supposed to go through the hole but really it was just supposed to be a spot for his face to be seen. {What that means is I was trying to cram his head through a spot definitely not big enough.} I scarred him with the dino costume this year….maybe next year. And he opted for the Star Wars’ thing he was last year.
We bumped into our sweet neighbors and told them they should trick-or-treat with us!
Love this girl!
Harry from Dumb and Dumber with his favorite snowman, Olaf.
So sweet!
Our friends began arriving and we asked the Arendal crew for a pic.
When we told them to get closer, this happened. #brittysandwich
Harry and Lloyd…they are a MESS!
Liv and Maddie
A group full of sweet girls!
The Slaughter Six
We snapped a Shull/Slaughter pic before it was time to head out!
Olaf was such a good sport but her tiny legs left us a bit behind the others. ha!
We ended the night with Mr. Andrew telling a spooky story right beside the water before we all headed home and grabbed showers. Such a fabulous night with friends and family!
Hope you guys had a great Halloween!
