Happy, Happy Friday, Friends!

This week is our football “bye” week for both of my big kids and you’d think we managed to get extra sleep. You’d be wrong. I feel like my body’s been working in a sleep deficit the entire week! Needless to say, I’m ready to set my alarm for a more “normal” wake up time!

As always, I’m here with Andrea to share some FAVORITES from my week…

First up is this denim dress + the tied bandana to make it feel a little more “fall”. I’m in the small in the dress. I think it runs a bit big. The whole look was a new FAVORITE! {Sorry about the pic quality. We were doing that after church scramble where everyone was trying to change clothes and get to practice.}

I very rarely make desserts in our house. I’m just not a baker. Let me back up….we eat desserts but they’re cookie dough we baked or ice cream or that kind of thing. However, this week I made these S’Mores Cookies. They’re SUPER simple! If you’re not a baker either, this recipe is for you! Britt helped me make these while we were simultaneously making dinner, if that tells you anything about the easiness. I bought the cookie dough sold in squares {which made it even easier}. A surprise dessert after dinner was a kid FAVORITE!

Hi! My name is Erika and I enjoy a teeny-bopper show. I finally finished The Summer I Turned Pretty and while many of the characters drove me bananas, I continued to watch! Some other FAVORITES are Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, and The OC, just to name a few. If you have any other recs, you think I’d enjoy, please share!

A couple things…

1. I thought the show was over on episode 6 so I just watched the last episode. hahaha! I thought it left us with a MAJOR cliffhanger.
2. I wanted to shake Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah all at different times throughout this series.
3. The amount of contemplation these characters had with Taylor Swift tunes playing as they contemplated, well…it was a lot.

You guys know we have a lot of FAVORITE college football teams in our house. From the Big 12 to SEC to ACC and even the Sun Belt {hello Arkansas State!!}, we are watching and we’re cheering. This time of year our television is on some football game five out of seven nights. I keep hearing things on ESPN and let me tell you…

Clemson & Dabo Swinney are two of my FAVORITES! I’m hoping this bye weekend gives them some extra needed rest and they come out ready to beat Bill and his Tar Heels. 😉

My Bible Study group is doing this He Is..study this fall. The author, Carrie, is a real life mom/friend who lives here in McKinney so it’s been extra special so far. It’s a new FAVORITE, for sure!
