It’s the WEEKEND! And THE FIRST weekend school officially started back here in North Texas. I’m doing my best to choose gratitude and being so very thankful for every moment we had this summer rather than annoyed about summer being over. With having a senior, my goal is to SOAK IT ALL IN! Hope you guys are gearing up in the best of ways as well. 😉

WHAT A GROUP for this camp!
Nixon was Bowen’s chauffeur to the camp every evening and I knew he was helping a bit if they needed him. I didn’t realize he and his teammates were in uniform on the last day until I saw this picture!

I spied Britt and a neighbor swimming one evening while I was making dinner. I took this through our back doors. Now that we’ve opened up that back wall of our house it’s SO nice! They can swim and I can watch while getting dinner ready! FAVORITE!

Britt had Meet the Teacher earlier this week and she has two teachers in fourth grade. One is new to our school but this teacher was on our hopes/dreams list so we were PUMPED she got in her class! She’s a FAVORITE of so many and Britt is looking forward to a great year!

We had some great FIRST DAYS in our house….
8th Grade
Nixon left crazy early for football but another mom sent this to me later in the day. Whew! 11th grade-
