HAPPY FRIDAY!! Today is a big one in our house! We’ve got Christmas parties at school, it’s the very last day of school for the year, Tab and I have our bestie Christmas dinner, and of course, we’ll be packing all the festive fun into the day we possibly can. Andrea and I are here sharing some Friday FAVORITES!
Here’s a list of my faves…

It’s been the week of Christmas parties around here! Last Friday night I attended my neighborhood Christmas party. It was a FAVORITE night getting to hang with these beauties. Not sure if you can spy my plaid platform heels but I found them just last week and they’re also a FAVORITE! I paired them with sequin flare pants {I’d size down} and was all sorts of festive.

Then I spent Sunday night some of my FAVORITE girls at Shay’s Recipe Exchange. Years ago this group of girls spent lots of time together with kids at the park or in the Chick-fil-A play area but now that are kids are at different schools and involved in so many different things we don’t get to see each other often. So the time together was good for my soul.

I didn’t take a single picture but mid-week Tab and I attended his work Christmas dinner. It’s always a fun special night out in Dallas. This year the theme was a little more casual so I wore this top with flare jeans. If you need something festive but not too dressy-it’s a great option!

If you’re looking for a fun idea to make an average night a little more festive, this was a FAVORITE! Tab was out of town one night this week so to make it a little extra fun the kids and I ordered Chinese takeout for dinner, got showered and in pjs early and then watched A Christmas Story! {I also read about cheese pizza, macaroni/cheese and Home Alone, if that’s more your style.}.

A girlfriend sent me this picture, but today I’m off to attend this crew’s Christmas party! It’s gonna be fun to spend some time with those FAVORITE kindergarteners!

As a busy mom of four, I know your time is limited and each minute is PRECIOUS! So I truly appreciate you coming here to pop in and read this little blog of mine. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.
A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING BLOG FEEDBACK SURVEY
Every year I like to do a little reflecting of what worked well in this blog space and let’s be real-what didn’t. PLEASE help me out by sharing what you enjoyed reading and your least faves too. This survey is just four little questions. It won’t take you long at all, but I’ll go through all the answers when I start planning my blog calendar for 2023! THANK YOU!!

What a YEAR! We’ve almost spent this entire year under a major home renovation. Most of those days involved us all here under the same roof as the construction team. So to say this year has been quiet would be a complete lie. haha! It’s been loud, chaotic, very stressful, but also full of some of the biggest blessings. We’re looking forward to 2023 being the year we get all settled in to our new spaces. I can’t wait to take you along. If you typically get a Christmas card from us, don’t worry-they’re coming. :). Just a bit later than normal. Merry Christmas, Friends! I hope you have the best holiday season with the ones you love beside you. See you back here in 2023!
You can follow along with me this Christmas Break on Instagram. We have some fun holiday traveling planned that I’ll be sharing.

What a crazy fun year for the Slaughter fam! I’m so excited to see what’s in store for you guys in 2023!!!
OH MY WORD! Your family picture is GORGEOUS!!! Love you, friend!
That’s the best Christmas card photo. Not easy to manage with kids! Well done 👏🏼
Merry Christmas!! Stunning card. I enjoy reading your blog because you are not perfect. You are just very relatable to the average person because, like the rest of us, things don’t always go as planned and you fully own up to that; you don’t even try to hide that they don’t go as planned, and I mean that in the very best way. I also love that you freely share your love of Jesus. For blog plans, I would just continue being you. Happy 2023!!
Wow! That is quite the week of parties. It sounds like so much fun though. We knew a family that got take out Chinese every Christmas day and watched Christmas Vacation. I thought that sounded like a delicious tradition but we don’t have any good Chinese food places around anymore.
The Christmas card is GORGEOUS.
Ahhh, love this! And I extra LOVE how many memories my people made with your people! 🥰
AWWW!!! We just missed seeing you guys!
