You guys! The crisp fall air is finally hitting Texas and I’m loving it!
If you’ve been reading here for a while, you already know this. But just in case…we moved about three months ago into a home we love! However, it was built in 1998 so our to-do list is pages long. We’ll eventually get to every project, but for now we’re getting things done as we live life and enjoy it!
Today I’m showing you a peek of our fall decor.
This is our front porch. Come on in…
As I’m typing this, I think the wreath needs to go up a bit. I’ll get right on that. 🙂
And Item #16 on our to do list is “New Door”. hahaha! Kidding about #16, NOT kidding about the new door!
This is one wall of our living room.
Candles were not on sale at Hobby Lobby this week. #keepinitreal
When you walk into the living room, this is your view.
Plantation shutters are also on our list. Sorry, girls! I can’t help sharing my lists!!
My favorite part about the living room is the stone fireplace. Very Texas!
This is the view to the left when you open the front door. I’m still a little undecided about what furniture I’m going to choose for this room. So right now, it houses train tracks. I added a little garland and some pumpkins to the mantel.
I’m working on a new look for that fireplace next week!
A closer look…the piece on the right was a Canton find from last week. I LOVE it!
A lantern full of pumpkins, a sign from Ross (years ago), and some fall garland
That’s kind of a short and sweet tour. I kept the fall decor simple and only in two rooms this year. Excited to cross things off our to-do list so I can show you some before/afters!
It all looks great
Thanks Kimm!
I love your Fall decor!! So pretty!! That piece from Canton is so cool!! Love!
Thank you!!
Your house is looking great! I can't wait to see what all you've done to the rest of it!

I'm checking out wallpaper today for the dining room!
Your floors came out amazing!!! Your decor for fall is simple and still have the fall feeling. Yeah I have to agree with you on the front door wreath needs to be a little higher.
Thank you!! Yeah…I'll get on that wreath thing. 🙂
Things are already looking great! I am loving how cozy your front porch is!
You wanna come over?? We could just hang out on the front porch?
Everything about your new home is cozy! Wish I could come see it for myself 🙂
Me too!!!
Plantation shutters were on our list too! And then the builder installed blinds with no cost to us so we opted for curtains 😉
That's nice!! For some reason the front part of our house upstairs only has plantation shutters and everything else is blinds? And for some other reason throughout the house the blinds/shutters are white to match the trim but in the living room they're tan??
Love the ikat rug!!! Where is it from?
Erika – I love your style!! Super cute house 🙂
I so wish I had a front porch large enough for a little decorating. I really just need to hire someone to complete all the to do lists I have…12 years later!! As soon as I get something completed I'm ready to start over in another room. haha
Erika, Ryan is going to make me stop reading your blog…I want to move every time I see your new house 🙂 Lol! I love your living room…it looks so cozy and that picture above the other fireplace is a great one of your fam!
Everything looks fantastic!! Your front porch is my favorite… I LOVE all of the pumpkins!
LOVE the fireplace! Your home is beautiful and I love all of the fall decorations. I wish you could come decorate my house! LOL.
Thanks for showing your home!! So nicely done. What a fantastic family pic above fireplace!!
I loved seeing into your house! These are my favorite posts!! So cozy and inviting 🙂
Everything looks so pretty! We are currently furniture shopping and I love your couch and chair in the living room. Would you mind sharing where you purchased it from?
