Okay, have you watched CHEER on Netflix?
I’ve been seeing it EVERYWHERE and am so thankful for bossy friends who told me to watch.

I hunkered down with Netflix and managed to binge watch by staying up WAY too late this weekend. Apparently, I’m committed to getting a job done as well as committed to the Navarro Cheer Team.
If you’ve never heard of this series, Cheer, on Netflix, it’s a docu-series with six-one-hour-episodes following the Navarro Cheer Team, from a junior college in Navarro, Texas, as they prepare to compete at nationals in Daytona, Florida. Not only is it motivating and inspiring, but you follow along with this squad of both guys and girls who have lived some tough lives. You find yourselves rooting for each and everyone of them. And if you’re like me, you end the series brainstorming ways you could make Monica proud yourself.

Cheer Performs on Ellen–Did you see the team perform on Ellen? Clearly, my emotions for these kids are still at an all-time high because at the end of the video when Ellen gives them the check, I teared up.

Cheer Teaches Kalen Some Moves–There’s a huge soft spot in my heart for all of them, but Jerry has a special place. When he teaches Kalen “mat talk”…well, I loved it.
Here’s to hoping Monica is looking for one more girl for mat in 2021! Fingers crossed she’s looking for someone who can’t tumble or stunt but has some really voluminous hair.
