Disney World-Part 3

Whew!  What a WEEKEND!  We had a special birthday night, all the sports, and were exhausted when our heads hit the pillows last night BUT it was a good one.

Today, I’m recapping our last day at Walt Disney World.  Just in case you missed it, Shay and I surprised our kindergarteners two weeks ago with three days packed full of fun in Disney World!

You can see our previous days…
Woke up and had a quick breakfast in our resort, the Polynesian Village Resort.  I should have taken a picture of my breakfast…bacon, egg, and cheese croissant.  Let me just tell you-it was a great way to start the day.  šŸ™‚

We spent our Thursday morning in Hollywood Studios and Toy Story Land was our first stop.  This area was AMAZING!  Shay and I couldn’t stop talking about the decor and all the details!

We made our way to Slinky Dog Dash first.

Lots of pictures in line!

This ride was AWESOME!

We hit up Toy Story Mania too!

The Christmas lights might have been my favorite!

Lots of fun with these two!

Our lunch at The Hollywood Brown Derby was absolutely delicious-crab wontons, the famous cobb salad, a grilled burger…trust me…it was good!

And drinks that LIGHT up?!!

After lunch, we took the bus over to Epcot to spend our last evening checking out that park.

These two were pumped!  Right before this picture was taken we took a quick bathroom break and bumped into Tab’s cousin and her four kiddos in the bathroom.  WHAT ARE THE ODDS, RIGHT??  All the people at Walt Disney World and we were in the same bathroom at the same time.

The Flower & Garden Festival was fun to see.  Bowen is now asking why we can’t have Goofy in our front flower beds.

We attempted another Mom pic.  Wait, who am I kidding they took approximately 42 mom pictures and this was the best.

Ashby wasn’t lacking any sass in Epcot.  šŸ˜‰

Gran Fiesta Tour boat ride in Mexico with my boy…I try my very best to make alone time with each kiddo but Bowen is probably the hardest for me to steal time with solo.  This trip was amazing in so many different ways but having three solid days with Bowen was awesome!  These were memories I’ll never forget and I hope he won’t either.

Norway is ALWAYS a favorite!

And China holds a special place in all of our hearts.

Germany is stunning!

Remember how excited Bowen was in Magic Kingdom about seeing characters at the parade?  Well, he was equally as excited with these characters.  šŸ™‚

We checked into our dinner spot, Rose and Crown, and people watched while they prepared our table.

The view from our table…was AMAZING!

This guy was full of jokes.

The weather was absolutely perfect, fish and chips were delicious, and it was the perfect way to end our Walt Disney World vacation.

We’d been putting off the souvenir purchasing the whole trip and finally told them they could choose their souvenir.  Nothing screams Disney World like a Goofy hat.  Right?

These two…their little friendship is so special.

And just like that…our three FULL days of Disney World came to an end.  What a TRIP!

*This trip helped me realize how very special that one-on-one time with my kiddos really is.  It doesn’t have to be a vacation to Walt Disney World.  It could be a night out in a hotel, camping in the backyard, a special date…whatever works for you but I strongly encourage you to work some time into your calendar.  I promise you, you won’t regret it!

*When we got home and were talking to the family about all that we’d done, Bowen said in the sweetest voice, “Mom, thanks for taking me to Disney World”.  I was basically a puddle on the floor and then I scrambled to book him another trip.  ha-just kidding!  But my mama heart did swell a bit-not gonna lie!

*I’m so thankful for Shay and Ashby!  I don’t remember whose idea this was-mine or Shay’s but I’m so thankful for a friend who’s down for fun trips like this!  I could pretty much talk Shay into any getaway and she could me as well.  Having a girl friend who’s always down for FUN isn’t something I take for granted.

*Remember-if you’re planning an upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World we’d LOVE to help you!  Please e-mail us at mixandmatchtravelagency@yahoo.com.  If you’re thinking about a trip outside of Walt Disney World, we also offer our services anywhere outside of the Continental US (so we do not offer our services to places like NYC, Boston, etc) to places like Hawaii, Mexico, Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, cruises and so much more.  We would love to chat with you about those destinations too!  Please e-mail us at mixandmatchtravelagency@yahoo.com to learn more!
