Hey! Hey! I’m a little giddy. My perfect winter is full of cool days, some warm days where the kids can still play outside, and then one or two snowy, icy days. If you can throw in a snow day from school, well that particular winter is perfection. Right now the forecast says we might get a little sleet/freezing rain/snow mix tonight or tomorrow morning. It. Could. Happen.

This is a post with no pictures. Very rarely does happen, but it’s happening today. I’m sharing what’s CURRENTLY on my mind…

Making: I’ve been making some insane lists to ensure my days are productive. Lists for who I’m calling, lists for my work to-do, lists for chores we’ve gotta do, etc. Lists, lists, lists.

Cooking: I just got the ingredients to make Shay’s Valentine Chex Treats. In my mind we’re making those tomorrow during our snow day. 😉

Drinking: Coffee on repeat.

Eating: I’ve been obsessed with the Salt and Vinegar Pistachios for a while and well, my love is still going strong. In the afternoon this is my go-to snack happening all the time. I just can’t quit them.

Reading: Love Her Well…still reading this one! It’s so good! It’s all about loving your teen daughter well during those rough years.

Wanting: My kids to magically decide to take anything on the bottom of the stairs up to their rooms. How do they walk RIGHT past their items without grabbing them? WHY does this happen?

Looking: Into resort wear-Spring Break is a warm destination for us this year! I’m on the hunt for some great cover-ups, suits, and warm weather items.

Playing: What I’m NOT playing is Wordle. I don’t understand the hype nor do I even know where to play. If you’re reading this, are you obsessed too? Can you only play if you post to Facebook? Questions, I’ve got lots of questions.

Wasting: Bahahahaha! I’m positive my answer on this one is always lettuce. I feel like I’m always throwing out lettuce gone bad.

Buying: The last thing I bought was a Cincinnati Bengals sweatshirt for Ebby Lee. What are the odds she’d choose “her team for life” on the year they head to the Super Bowl?

Sewing: Hahahaha! Nothing since 2005 or 2006.

Wishing: Someone else would get dinner made. It’s not happening. It’s me. Tacos are on the menu tonight. Think Britt’s too young to learn how to cook tacos?

Loving: The extra time at home. Ebby Lee is the only playing a sport right now…she’s actually playing two, but we’ve had much more family time at home. I’m LOVING it!

Hoping: For that snow day? Too much to mention it one more time?

Marveling: At the Texas sunsets! My goodness, they’ve been gorgeous lately!

Needing: To fold two loads of laundry…always laundry.

Smelling: This delicious smelling candle my mother-in-law got me for Christmas. I’ve had it burning today in the kitchen and it’s making the whole house smell good.

Wearing: All the red and pink this month! I was asked to share more outfits so I’m attempting to share my outfit of the day every day in the month of February.

Praying: For a long time friend and her daughter. They’ve been on my heart for weeks.

Noticing: That Celebrity Big Brother is on SOON! EEK!!! Who else will be watching?

Knowing: It’s gonna be a big commitment-three days a week during February is way different than three days in the week in the summer, but I’m not a quitter.

Thinking: I’ve been thinking about how thankful I am for all of you reading! I appreciate each and every one of you so very much!

Opening: My e-mail and working on vacations!

Giggling: About how funny kids are…I went to dinner with Ebby Lee and her friends on Friday and had the BEST time. Tween/teen girls are the best! I laughed so hard and basically resorted back to my 12-year-old self.

Okay, friends! Super random blog post today but now I’m off to work! There’s a little peek about what’s CURRENTLY going on around here! See you tomorrow!

Wordle is easy and fun. It’s just a website and you don’t have to share your results at the end if you don’t want to. I don’t share to social media, but everyone in my family does it and we share our results on a group text.

Just go to Google and type in Wordle to play, you don’t have to share to social media at all. It is so fun! A challenge for yourself and your friends/family.

Your kids should definitely be able to put together tacos. My 5 year old and 10 year old can do it with minimal supervision. The 5 year old warms the (soft) shells in the frying pan and my older son makes the meat. The rest of the things are pretty easy to get together too.

My problem was the only one at home during that time was my six-year-old. She’s not ready to cook the meat quite yet. Soon though!!
