Bowen’s Little Celebrations

We knew the Shulls were heading out of town for a family visit around Bowen’s birthday so we made sure to ask them a while back about celebrating before they left town.  We met up at Pinstack-a local laser tag, bowling, game place that also has a restaurant.

I had big plans of having a bounce house in the backyard-type of party, but the weather was kind of chilly so maybe next year it’ll work out.

Our food kind of took a sweet forever and these two were in RARE form.

We hit up the games as soon as we were finished.

These two were my favorite.  They thought they were playing whether I’d swiped my card or not.  🙂  #cheapestdates

A SUPER intense game of girls (Kensington and Ebby Lee) versus boys (Smith and Nixon) took place and it somehow ended in a tie!!!

I look over and see this.  The competitive genes run deep apparently.  🙂

You know those rides that shake, bump, and make it look like you’re on a scary roller coaster??  The girls were the first up and I LOVED their expressions!

I think Bowen played it up for the camera a bit.  ha!  Ashby wasn’t impressed.  At all.

We had a GREAT night celebrating Bowen with friends!!

On Friday, we had big plans to attend our downtown’s Christmas celebration but it was GUSHING rain and crazy cold (for Texas).  We opted for a little Christmas fun at the toasty warm and indoor-Bass Pro.  hahaha!

Bowen was three…he did not need adult supervision this time.  🙂

Ebby Lee and Nix MIGHT have one year left on that carousel and then they’ll be way too big.

We enjoyed Santa’s Wonderland where we shot bow and arrows at ducks (kind of like a carnival ride).

Even though he was three, he decided a little help would be nice on this one.

These two LOVE each other so much!

Group Picture!!!

For Bowen’s birthday, T-Nonnie surprised him with Disney on Ice tickets for everyone.  He had no clue what that was when he opened the tickets earlier that morning, but when we hit up the afternoon show, he had a fabulous time!

They all did. 🙂

Tab had to leave right after lunch for a football game, so it was just my parents, the kiddos, and me.  The show was cute!!  Nixon and Bowen had never been and it was the perfect birthday present.

Nixon is the best at playing along with my selfie requests.  Can you tell?

The Lion King and The Little Mermaid portions were my favorites!!

We ended the night with leftovers, cozy pajamas, and birthday cake at our house.

I started asking Ebby Lee and Bowen these questions when they were three, so now it’s Bowen’s turn for a Birthday Interview…

Love his answer for what he wants to be when he grows up! Love it ! 3 was my favorite age with all my kids. It's like they were out of the baby stage, but still little at the same time!

Love it! My little Davey just turned 3 as well and I interviewed him, too. He had a couple answers where I didn't know what he was talking about either. Silly boys!

Bowen is just so sweet, maybe the dinosaur outfit he talking about is his Halloween costume.
