Last Wednesday Tab and I left early on the morning…headed to Boston! It was my first time ever visiting AND my parents stayed to babysit so we were SOLO!! I love and adore my kiddos, but it is nice to eat a meal without cutting someone’s food, right?? I tagged along on Tab’s business trip, so it was a quick little vaca for Mama! But, it was so nice!
I am the opposite of a history buff to put it mildly. 🙂 I sent Shay this picture of us in her favorite city. Tab doing his thing…reading ANY piece of info on a wall. And I did my thing. Tried the local ice cream! We were both in heaven! 🙂
We arrived in Boston around 1:00 on Wednesday afternoon. We checked into the hotel and then headed out to see some sights. This is the location of the Boston Massacre. Tab was really into looking at this and I was mesmerized by the street dancers. No lie! Those guys were AMAZING!
He loves taking selfies with me…hahahaha! I’m being sarcastic!
Paul Revere’s house…we went in for a little tour.
My guy was the one asking the sweet workers way too many questions. Love him!
Then we ventured off to see the USS Constitution.
It started raining, so I used my bag as an umbrella. Resourceful, huh?
This little ladder was a little tricky to navigate on the ship.
We ended the night with an umbrella purchase, a yummy dinner, and a viewing of Fever Pitch in our hotel room.
Thursday morning…we walked through this super cute park to the Beacon Hill area for breakfast.
Isn’t that park cute??
Don’t these flowers look like they belong in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory?? ha! Or…maybe a Dr. Seuss book?
Our hotel was RIGHT across the street and it was SO nice!
Tab took a pic of me on the subway. I have NO clue why! We were pretty hilarious trying to figure that out. It just took a minute or two…then we were old pros! For you Scandal watchers, I kept telling Tab that I was looking for Huck in the subway. Never found him. 🙂
I posted this on IG….Tab got on a business call as soon as we stepped foot onto Harvard’s campus. So, I pretty much walked around for an hour while he followed me on the phone! ha!

Then Tab headed on a little Harvard tour and I walked around doing a little shopping. I found this dog! Ebby Lee got this as a Christmas present when she was one. She fell in love and named her Chi Chi. She took her to a Missouri football game and we lost her in the hotel. She was later found and made her way back to us in TX. Random story…I just wanted to show E and thought it was fun!
Tab took me back to show me Ben Affleck’s favorite pizza place. He learned that info on the tour and knew I’d be interested. 🙂
I got decked out in my Red Sox shirt (thanks for letting me borrow, Shay!) and we headed to Fenway!!
We met up with Tab’s client and walked to the stadium. The weather was PERFECT! It looked like it was going to pour down raining, but it never did.
These were out seats…pretty good!
It was a fabulous way to end our little getaway! It was fun, Boston…until next time!
