*Where did you find Ebby Lee’s Shopkins’ press-on nails?
Wal-Mart-they were in the section for birthday decorations/party favors.
*What’s your workout routine?
I must say that I try to do my best in the working out department, but some weeks are great and others aren’t. I try overall to just be healthy. Go for family walks, take a bike ride, etc. My usual workout routine is go to classes at the gym two days a week. Then usually two other days I do some other type of workout….workout on my own at the gym, do a video at home, do a Pinterest workout. I try to change it up. The main thing is to just get moving. Right?
*What do your typical meals look like?
I’m the WORST breakfast maker ever. I can get up early like a champ, but if I have to make a real breakfast-BLAH-I have a bad attitude. This is my new school year resolution by the way. 🙂 So maybe this will change in a couple weeks, but for now my meals look a bit like this…
Breakfast: Protein Bar (because I’m lazy at breakfast making, but I’ll keep you posted)
Lunch: A salad from Chick-Fil-A, sushi from the grocery store (for real), or a wrap from the gym cafe are my usual go-to pick ups. If I’m at home, I’ll eat leftovers or grab a sandwich.
Snack: Between 1-2 every afternoon, I look forward to my afternoon cup of coffee.
If I’m STARVING before dinner, I might have banana and peanut butter, beef jerky, or a yogurt.
Dinner: Some type of meal I make for the family, usually with at least one veggie-if not two.
With all that said, if my mom is in town and makes my favorite cheesy hashbrowns, you might find me eating them for a snack at 10:00 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.. I can make no promises on that. hahaha! I’m not good at choosing the best food-if junky food is available so I try not to have too much of that available. I’m also a big believer in moderation. Have a piece of cake or nachos, but just have a little.
I am the worst breakfast person, too! I hate making breakfast and would rather grab some sort of bar out of the pantry or make a quick smoothie. And I can't wait to see what your new front door looks like! Have a great Monday!

I love reading Olivia's financial posts! She is awesome and has awesome advice !! Have a great week
Great Q&A! I love all of this! 🙂
I love these posts! I hope people keep asking so you can keep answering!
I cannot wait to see your new front door! I know it's going to be spectacular!
Thanks for the shout out Erika! 🙂 I'm totally opposite with the breakfast…I want eggs, pancakes, and bacon. I need to learn to eat a bar…lol. I love Ebby Lee's face with those nails!
I am terrible at breakfast too! I am a yogurt at my desk person. Can't wait to see the front door!
I am loving Big Brother. I have watched it for years. 🙂 I agree with Paul, at first I wasn't a big fan but now he is growing on me. Paul and Paulie are probably my favorite. #friendship is hilarious.
I am in LOVE with the rug in the picture about your floors! Where is it from?!?!
I love love these posts you should make it a weekly occurrence!
I'm the opposite with finances I think it's ok to talk about it, I mean I'm not saying post what your income is lol, but I remember reading an article saying there would be less ' keeping up with the jonses'.. it was interesting, but we are the same, after tithing (10%), living, saving, not going into debt..it works for us !
I love your healthy attitude about your husband traveling! My husband is gone most weeks for work, and sometimes gone for weeks at a time. I hear from people all the time how angry they would be if their husband traveled that much, and it always surprises me. He is doing his job, how can I be mad that he is providing for his family. Don't get me wrong, I have learned that I tend to get a little "twitchy" by the end of week 2 of him being gone, but we make it work. You are right, communication is key!
"extreme side of communicators" HAHA! Love that. Austin and I chat a lot too. (sometimes too much!! Ha!)
If you don't mind answering, what conference does Tab officiate in? My husband and I are both huge(!) college football fans and I want to make sure and watch for him this fall. I'm sure I've seen him in the past before I was a full time reader of your blog, but just didn't realize he was "Erica's husband"! Also, I more than likely have seen him play. I graduated from University of Louisiana Monroe (Northeast Louisiana University in my day), one of A State's rivals (Y'all usually beat us – Boo!)and attended many games before moving to Texas a few years ago. What position did he play? Your school had to change mascots just as we did. Love reading your blog and looking at all your pictures of your cute kiddos!
My family and I sometimes make muffins and then freeze them to have on hand for breakfast. In the morning you just pop them in the microwave for about a minute on defrost.
I love when you talk Big Brother. You got me hooked last season. I would agree with the James or Paul vote. I'm liking Paulie less and less… I feel like there is a difference between playing the game and just being a meanie. Haha, wish we could discuss more. I don't know anyone else who watches this show! 😉
