It’s been a while since I’ve done a big ol’ photo dump of what’s been happening with the Slaughter clan. That’s what’s happening today. Are you ready?
Britt Slaughter has the silliest personality and is the BEST at imitating body language or a certain position. I must say I know I wasn’t laid like this across the table at Chick-Fil-A, but I know she’s seen someone do it before and she was reenacting! And five-year-old Bowen thinks bunny ears on anyone is hilarious. #boys
We were waiting patiently for our friends to arrive for lunch. These two can be so sweet to each other one second and completely over each other the next. 🙂
A few weeks ago at school, Ebby Lee and Kensington got to give a friend from church who’ll be attending their school in the fall a tour. You’d have thought they were asked to start giving tours at the White House. They absolutely LOVED getting to show their friend around their school.
A few weekends ago we finally grabbed a date on our calendars that aligned with the Shulls and had a much needed date night! There’s no denying we love our children with our whole hearts, but having dinner WITHOUT cutting anyone else’s food is needed every now and then. 🙂
These two were the first two dressed and ready for the pool.
To say he’s smitten, would be an understatement.
She’s one smart cookie…she’s got him right where she wants him.
Bowen and Ashby had Kindergarten Round-Up recently. It’s a night at our elementary school when the kindergarten teachers share a little about the upcoming school year. Then the group is split into several sections and each teacher goes into a little more detail about each subject.
I hate to say it, but I think he’s ready. 🙂
Thankfully, she still has a few more years at home.
Bowen invited me to up to his school to celebrate Mother’s Day and I want you to know there must have been some exciting stuff going on while we were taking these pictures. LOOK at his face! hahaha!
It looks like he’s embarrassed to be taking his pic. I promise that wasn’t the case. However, when I wanted to smooch his face before I left, he wasn’t really feeling that in front of his friends.
So we tried again and again….
after school. 🙂 What can I say…this is us.
On Mother’s Day, these four were so sweet. It wasn’t exactly the day we’d all envisioned since I was laying low all day with strep, but we made the most of it. So thankful for my crazy crew.
Monday after school, Shay hosted our end-of-the-season volleyball party for our volleyball team. Pizza, cupcakes, and swimming…what more could nine-year-olds want? Right?
We celebrated one of the girls’ birthdays and Miss Britt was a FAN of the pink cupcakes. Can you tell? 😉
We’ve officially hit that time of year when we have ALL THE THINGS right before summer hits. But we’re doing our best to enjoy it all. Hope you are too!
