I’m joining Andrea and sharing a little about my little part of the world. Today we’re sharing what makes us unique…the quirky, funny, and interesting parts.
You guys know I’m a wife to Tab and mama to Nixon-6, Bowen-3, and Ebby Lee-7.
I am a work-from-home mama who blogs, is a Rodan and Fields’ consultant, and plans vacations all while keeping our house running smoothly. (Well, at least that’s my goal.) Tab has a real 9-5 job and on the weekends can be found officiating college football games.
I always describe myself as Type AB…meaning I prefer for my life to be super organized but I need someone to come over and get it organized for me. hahaha! #truth
Tab would tell you when we first got married I was MESSY! I have come a LONG way in this department, but at any given moment the inside of my car is sure to be a disaster. I’m telling you often times when my kiddos hop out of the car-other things roll out as well…water bottle, toy, Bowen’s nap mat. ha! You name it-it’s probably happened.
Your face would look like me above if you took a look inside my purse. That is if I’m carrying one. ha! I prefer to just carry my keys, wallet, and phone loosely, in a pocket, or in my hand. Trust me…I’m working on this one.
I have the worst memory about certain things. For instance, Tab will ENSURE me he told me he was out of town for business on a random Wednesday night. I will be certain he never told me. But odds are, I can tell you at any given moment where Ebby Lee’s dark turquoise bow is, where Nixon’s football cleats are, or where Bowen’s toy dragon is. I mean. WHY does my brain store so much random info. RIGHT? Anyone else? The point is-I write EVERYTHING down, so I don’t forget. 🙂
When I’m solo parenting and get the kiddos in bed, I OFTEN reward myself with a sweet treat…brownie, ice cream, a bowl of cereal. It doesn’t really matter, but it’s my way of high-fiving myself at the end of a long day.
I try my best to keep my outlook on life-lighthearted. There’s SO much heavy all around us. I try to be a light for others around me.
I tried and tried to think of new fun and quirky things about myself. I’ll try to keep a running record of any great confessions I randomly remember. I’ll keep you posted. 🙂
