It’s Tuesday!!! I’m combining two of my favorite series today by showing you my Top Three Favorite Parties I’ve hosted.
I’m linking up with Andrea for today’s Show and Tell. 🙂
Here are my Top Three Parties:
When Ebby Lee turned three and Nixon turned two, we had a double birthday bash! We rented out the clubhouse in Tab’s parents’ neighborhood. Since it was an Easter theme for a boy and girl, we stuck with a green and orange bunny theme complete with an egg hunt and a visit from the Easter bunny. This was one of my favorite parties! The back of the clubhouse had a lot of space, so the kiddos could run around. It was the perfect little birthday bash!
You can see all the fun from the party here.
Funny, but the entire weekend I felt a little crummy. Just “off”. Two days later we discovered Bowen was on the way!
#2 Couple’s Shower
A couple years ago I hosted a baby shower for our friends, the Venters. We had the shower the first weekend in December, so my house was already decorated for Christmas. I set up a chili bar with all the fixin’s and we had a few appetizers as well. This shower turned out so cute. It was super laid back and a fun night. And…Tab got a playoff football game at the last second, so I felt a little like Superwoman because I pulled this off with two littles at home and a hubby out of town. haha!
Okay, I clearly should have done something with that cord on the left of the fireplace! haha! It was a great night celebrating this mama and her sweet baby boy.
#3 Ebby Lee’s Candy Party
When Ebby Lee turned one, we threw a big candy themed birthday party. I was the typical mom with only one kiddo who put all kinds of time and energy into cute decorations and had not a thing for any of the kids who came to actually do! So sorry, Mamas!! We had tons of candy and a great time celebrating Ebby Lee.
And…an honorable mention goes to Kensington’s Sip ‘N See. Some girlfriends and I hosted Shay’s Sip ‘N See for Kensington. We had it on a Saturday morning in the fall. My friend, Whitney, came over and we made sure it looked super fallish everywhere in my house! The brunch food was delish! It was the perfect little way to celebrate a friend and her new baby.
And…in case you missed it yesterday, if you’re local and interested in learning more about the R + F business you should be my guest to our team’s little get together next Tuesday. E-mail if you want to come! alittlebitofeverything83@yahoo.com
They all look like such fun parties!!!
These all look so fun! I think I like the candy party the best because of how colorful it was! You did a great job!

All the parties look fun but I love the candy theme!!
OH I love that candy party! So cute 🙂 Actually all of the parties were super cute. Kuddos on putting a party together without the hubby. The week of any party I throw I'm pretty much a crazy woman, getting last minute things done, that I could have gotten done earlier but didn't, you probably know how it is 🙂 Good work!
Haha! So true about decorations taking center stage and then not having anything to do for the guests! I've learned my lesson after my 4 year olds party in February (oh the shame..;)
Any tips for making the cute banners?
That candy party is precious!!! I love it!
How cute is the Easter theme?!? Perfect!
Love the candy theme also…I did that for Claire's 4th birthday! One of my favorites!
