Hey There, Friends!
If you follow along with my life over on Instagram, then you probably saw a picture from our Prime Time Birthday Party. Tab’s parents live just ten minutes away and are always so sweet to throw us a birthday party each year. This year, Marla outdid herself and the theme was Prime Time Birthday, meaning Amazon Prime. 🙂
Tab’s dad picked the kids up about an hour before the party started. Now I know it was so they could get dressed and in character before our arrival. This is how the front yard looked when we pulled up. Boxes EVERYWHERE, four kids sporting, “PRIME” shirts, and UPS hats.
They declared us the Prime King and Queen for the party!
As the neighbors drove by, we got the craziest stares! All those boxes!
These cuties were not breaking character.
My in-laws said they’d saved boxes for months!
When we went inside, this sign greeted us.
And so did this girly!
Marla had made UPS trucks out of boxes wrapped in butcher paper.

Dinner was some of my favorites…tailgate sandwiches {her key to these being so delicious is using havarti cheese}, bacon wrapped sausages, baked beans, and french fries.

Queen Erika and King Tab both had our own little tags.
After dinner we were just chatting and the doorbell rang. Ebby Lee told me I had a Special Delivery…
The boys were at a prior commitment but the girls joined us for dessert.
So MUCH FUN! And I was shocked! Shay and I had talked about our evenings just earlier that day!
Check out our birthday cake!! Doesn’t it look just like a package? It even had our names and address on the front!
What a FUN night we had celebrating!
Marla is really the best at throwing parties. Trust me…you can see them all here…
The kids and I have already decided we’re gonna try to throw her a party this year. We have the theme and are working out all the details! Wish us luck! We have some big shoes to fill in this department! And a month to make it happen!

I love reading about Marla's parties!! This theme is the best! And I had to giggle when I saw one of the little chalkboard signs on the table that said "Nice Package!" LOL! It looks like you all celebrated well!!
