Hey Hey! What a week! This short week is doing me in! And Tab’s been out of town for work which has just made my week easier {can you sense the sarcasm there?}.
It’s the second Wednesday of the month which means Shay and I are here with Let’s Look. Today, we’re talking THANKSGIVING MENUS!
I get giddy talking about things like food and menus. I tend to drive my mom nuts when they’re coming to visit because I want to discuss the menu over and over prior to anyone’s arrival.
This year our Thanksgiving plans are to drive to Missouri to visit my family. One of my cousins lives in Tennessee {you might remember when Tab had the Tennessee game and we visited} and it’s been years {like they’ve never met Britt} since we’ve been in Missouri together. Word on the street is her family gets to come this year so it’ll be extra sweet.
Last year I was planning on having Thanksgiving guests so when we shared our menu I gave you all the details. You should check it out in case you’re looking for what to feed your guests. I typically prep breakfast casseroles and have everything on hand to make soup and snacky foods Thanksgiving Eve.
I got all the details from my mom on our Thanksgiving menu so this is what will be on our plates…
*Deep Fried Turkey
*Baked Ham
*Chicken and Dressing {click here for our family slow cooker recipe}
*Mashed Potatoes
*Sweet Potatoes
*Green Beans on Steroids {I shared the recipe for that as well.}
*Corn
*Rolls
*Deviled Eggs
*Cranberry Sauce
*Salad
I’m HERE for all those Thanksgiving sides! But what’s even more exciting than that is the group of family I’ll be with surrounding the table. I hope you get to be with your people this Thanksgiving as well.
We’ve got one more topic left in 2021 and I hope you join us! Sharing our favorite traditions next month!
Thanks for reading today, friends!
XO

How did I not know she's never met Britt? Never?! I am so excited for that!!
Looks very similar to our Thanksgiving menu! YUM!
That menu looks delicious and very similar to ours! I'm so glad you'll be able to spend time with your Missouri family!
I discovered Rudy’s BBQ when visiting 25 years ago. I was back for the first time just before COVID and my one request was dinner at Rudy’s. I’d suggest grabbing a side of their corn while you’re at it. 😋
