Happy Friday! Wahoo!! This first week back at it has been a tough one for us. We want to go back to sleeping in with no schedule, no lunch packing, and no bed time at night. Anyone else? hahahaha!
I’m teaming up again with my girlies, Andrea and Narci, to share our Friday Favorites. You should join us!!
I know today is Friday, but I’m going to share a FAVORITE Thursday night. Last night was “Preview Night” at the Fan Experience for the Championship Football Game that’s here in Dallas on Monday night. Tab snagged us some tickets. And…we had a little adventure on a random Thursday night. It will be a FAVORITE for a while!
The entrance to the football party! Fun lights were shining all over, these HUGE football players greeted us, and music was blaring. My kiddos were in HEAVEN!! hahahaha!
We began on the Oregon side of the party. Ebby Lee started out slightly dramatic. Can you tell?
First stop was the kiddie area…Nix suited up and got ready to kick and throw.
Tab tried to convince Bowen the Chick-Fil-A cow was nice.
And Sister joined the Chick-Fil-A cow on the sidelines to cheer.
Impressive action shot?? haha!
This one might be even more impressive. Bless Bowen’s heart…his ball moved about six inches.
On to the “throwing” portion of the night.
The sweet lady allowed Bowen to gently place the ball in the net, so he could “make” on too.
They jumped, dodged, and shoved while practicing their “football moves”.
I mean he looks pretty legit here. Don’t you think??
In the Dr. Pepper area, the kiddos were on opposite teams, timed as they tried to throw the footballs through the circles, and filmed while this was all going down. So…the video was up on the wall behind them. Super cool area!! (Especially on a slow night, but this weekend…NUTS!)
This kid was in his element. 🙂
Afterwards, they had them go to a “red carpet” area to take pictures. So cute!
They ended the area on the big screen.
We took time out to play a little Corn Hole.
Bowen gave up and decided it made a much better slide. hahaha!
There were several big areas were you could play football. I looked up and Nixon was out there with three older boys. Granted…they’d given him the ball to run and he was WAY outside the line but still!! hahaha!
Everyone took a turn running a 40-yard dash.
Bowen and I made it on the cover of ESPN magazine.
One last race before we left.
The Ohio State side 🙂
Ebby Lee found some sweet cheerleaders walking around. They were so nice to her.
Our kiddos were wiped at the end of the night. Running, catching, throwing, kicking….they were exhausted by the time we go to the car!!
What is he doing?? hahaha! I told him to make a letter “I”. Maybe we need to review our letters?
