Whew!! We are tired in the Slaughter house, but the fun isn’t over yet.
This is happening today…
Bowen Hency is 3!!
God knew exactly what he was doing when he created Bowen.
He began his little life as the easiest baby to enter the Slaughter family….until he got acid reflux at eight weeks. hahaha!
This kid has the best personality. He is a little charmer and can have you eating out of the palm of his hand within minutes.
His favorite color is green and he’s been asking for a green race car cake for his birthday for weeks!
He can talk Nixon and Ebby Lee into doing ANYTHING for him. I mean anything.
He started sleeping in Nixon’s room with him back in the old house and has taken up residency in his bed in the new house as well.
Every night Bowen asks Nixon if he can sleep in his room and Nixon acts like he’s put out, but he secretly LOVES it!
They are his biggest fans!
His favorites are Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, and Team Umizoomi.
He loves all things train or dinosaur.
In the car if I’m trying to keep him awake before nap time, he’ll say, “But, Mom, I just want to take a little rest.” 🙂
His prayer yesterday before our Thanksgiving lunch went like this…”Dear God, Thank you for Mommy, Daddy, Boo, and M. Thank you for clean water. Thank you for orange juice. Ashby is a good person. Amen.” Then he added, “Oops-I forgot T-Nonnie.” hahaha!
He loves Ashby Shull big. He talks to her on the phone ALL THE TIME. (Pretend phone, I should add.) He’s been known to get in trouble at preschool for kissing her during the day!! I know. I know. He’s only three. I’m in trouble.
I love that the very first thing he does every time we come inside is take off his shoes and put them in the closet.
He has a mind of his own and does NOT enjoy being pushed around.
He loves Ebby Lee and Nixon big and they love him even more.
