Girly Day:
Can you see their fancy make-up?? 🙂 These pretty girls came home with Ebby Lee after lunch on Monday. Our plan was to go see Paddington. I totally had a big mom fail moment. I didn’t think about the entire county going to an afternoon kid movie on a school holiday. When we arrived I was told there were plenty of tickets but absolutely not five seats together.
EEK! I panicked and we quickly drove to give theater #2 a try. Imagine me giving the girls a pep talk about how we’re going to walk quickly and all stay together because it totally happened. I should mention that this theater is in a mall. Our parking place felt like it was miles away AND the escalator was out of order. The girls were AMAZING!! They were huffing and puffing behind me. I was sweating! We were a mess! haha! Fail #2!!! As soon as we made it to the top, I saw the “Sold Out” sign on Paddington!! WAAHHH!! I quickly came up with a (another) back up plan. Manicures AND ice cream sundaes! They were easily persuaded and instantly on board with plan C!
It was a super fun girly day!
Unstopables:
You guys know I’m a big fan of the Downy Unstopables. They’re an in-wash scent booster and they make your laundry smell AMAZING!!! I saw the Unstopables candles and thought I should give them a try.
I love lighting a candle when I’m working at home. As crazy as it sounds it keeps me motivated (I know that sounds nuts). It’s easier to fold laundry and vacuum when there’s a candle burning! So finding a cheap candle I can burn all the time is great. The price was fantastic! The smell? Not so much! In order for me to smell it, I couldn’t have any other candle in my entire house lit. It wasn’t a delightful smell….it was just “eh”. The Unstopables for my laundry is a FAVORITE. The candles…not so much. Has anyone else tried them??

I wish I lived near you to take advantage of the coupon for eyelash extensions! My only concern is do they look real or not? Sometimes it's hard to tell in pictures. Judging by the pictures, your own eyelashes already look long and thick! (Wish mine were half as nice as yours!)
And I'm EXACTLY the same about burning candle to motivate me -crazy!:lol

Trina has you decide on the length and volume. These pictures were taken right before the holidays. I wanted them to be a little more dramatic. I just saw some pics she posted on IG of a more "everyday" look. They were stunning!
And…it sounds like we both need to keep the candles burning so we get a lot done. 🙂

I'm still impressed with the way your pressed on with the girls! I would have been all "Sorry girls, time to go home! Mama tried." 🙂 And I still haven't tried the laundry stuff. I will pick some up TODAY!

OMG! I feel the same way about lighting candles to be motivated. It's like the pleasant smell makes me keep moving! Glad to know I'm not alone in that nutty thought 🙂

Try the Febreeze Air Effects in the blue Unstoppables. Its the aerosol can. It smells just like the ones you put in the washer. My husband is completely obsessed with unstoppables. Love your blog!! 🙂
I must admit, I have never heard of eye lash extensions! I would love them!!! Since a trip down to Big Tex isn't an option right now, I need to see where in Ohio it is offered 🙂

Ok, question, how much do they charge in Texas.for the little girls to have manicures?.. Where I live, they charged $20 per little girl.. $65 for an adult, Same with pedi

Similar Monday story: I'm a nanny for 2 girls and they both had a friend over on Monday. I tried to take them to the 12:50 Paddington.. Sold out. I quickly bought tickets to the 1:30 show at another theater.. Rushed there! 4 girls under the age of 5 in the back seat and got PULLED OVER!! We literally ran to the theater, and no seats together!! We finally saw it at 4 pm and I must admit, I took a little snooze in the theater after all that work!!! Too funny!!
I swear by the pink Unstoppables but totally agree the candle isn't worth it! I was so excited to buy it, but didn't love it. If you have a Scentsy warmer, put a small capfull of the actual Unstoppable dots in there and it makes the house smell uh-mazing!! 🙂 Happy Friday!!!

Does your movie theatre have assigned seats? I live in PA and you purchase the tickets and then go inside and sit in any open seat. Maybe it depends what city you live in. When I studied in Athens, Greece in college we went to the movie theatre. We were the only 5 people in the whole place and we had assigned seats!
