Do you hear the wailing? It’s my kiddos realizing it’s their LAST WEEK DAY OFF before school starts on Monday. Ha! No, I kid. They’re mostly excited about going back to school and seeing friends.
I’ve teamed up with my friends, Andrea and Narci, to share our Friday Favorites. We’d love for you to joins us!
A Little Bit of Everything:
Do you know what this means? Our new door is IN! I’ll have pictures to share soon. They’re working on the finishing touches today. So far, we’re loving the look!
This sweet thing went shopping with the girls in the family last week. She was all about the accessories…not so much the clothes.
I’ve teamed up with Sugar Bit to showcase some of their adorable kids’ clothes and then we have a GIVEAWAY! Sugar Bit is a super cute southern, children’s boutique that has the most stylish things for the children. The sizing runs from birth all the way to tween sizes for girls. They have amazing prices as well. Seriously, Mamas…check it out!
Bowen was stoked the patch on his shirt matched the bottom of his shoes. He’s showing me in the picture. 🙂
They both begged to model in their new school shoes. haha! This t-shirt is crazy soft. As a fan of all things comfy-cozy, Nixon approved!
Ebby Lee’s outfit was my favorite! Ruffles for the WIN!
They have some of the cutest things for girls. (And both of those items above are under $30!) I ordered Ebby Lee a plaid shirt dress that just happened to be in her school colors. So cute!
Natasha over at Sugar Bit is giving away a $50 gift card to a reader! Just enter the Rafflecopter below. Good luck! 🙂 Thanks for teaming up, Sugar Bit!
When I asked my kids what they’d love to do this week they both answered, “Trampoline Park!”. So on Monday, I made it happen. They bounced, ran, flipped, and had a ball for two hours.
I shared this on Instagram, but I had a moment watching Nixon play dodgeball with some bigger boys.
You guys! I remember seriously remember getting up 11 times, walking into baby Nixon’s room, and putting the pacifier back in his mouth so he’d go back to sleep. 11 times!! And now that same kid is throwing a ball at other kids hoping to hit them! AHHH!! Time SLOW DOWN!
Our neighbors hosted the cutest Backyard Olympics for us earlier this week.
Obstacle Warrior Kids:
Wednesday, we finally made it to a relatively new place in McKinney called Obstacle Warrior Kids. It’s very similar to the show, American Ninja Warrior, but the obstacles are scaled down so kids can do them.
They ran, jumped, and hoped for the best for a solid two hours. I was exhausted just watching. 🙂
See that smile? That’s the look of a kid who made it over the pit.
WAHOO!! He made it!
Somehow I missed pictures of Bowen. #thirdkidproblems But they do have a separate area for children under six to play.
This girl is way more cautious than her brother. She gets that from me. I’m pretty sure. You guys saw me skiing this year. Right? hahaha! Even this cautious soul had a great time!
This weekend we plan on soaking up every last minute of fun we can make before school starts on Monday. I’m telling you this has been a GREAT summer. We’ve made some amazing memories, and are looking forward to an awesome school year. Happy Friday! XOXO
