I hope you had a great week! I’m joining my friends, Andrea and Narci, to bring you some favorites on a Friday. It’s a hot random mess. Hope you’re prepared. 😉
First up, (my knees NEED lotion and the SUN…hahahaha! Don’t look at those!) this Simply Fit Board. Does anyone have it? It’s the workout board that was featured on Shark Tank. My mom gifted it to me for Christmas and I am pumped about using it. I’ve only done one workout on the board so far-one I found on YouTube. I like to change it up in the workout department and it seems like there are lots ways to do that with this board. I’ll keep you posted, but I’d LOVE to hear what you think if you have this! Do you have any favorite workouts with the board? Please share!
Friday afternoon, it began SNOWING in TEXAS!
Bowen and I bundled up to go play for a few minutes.
And apparently playing in the snow for five minutes is EXHAUSTING. 🙂
Basketball is in full swing around here. Nixon and Ebby Lee are both playing. Shay and I kind of laughed about how much the television show, Liv and Maddie, encouraged our girls to want to play basketball this season, but then I remembered the summer I became a housekeeper because of Maid in Manhattan and Blue Crush. #shemustgetitfromme

On Monday, I was trying to cook something with what we had in the pantry. I wasn’t feeling it and luckily when Tab called saying he was on his way home he wasn’t feeling it either. We met at Mesa’s and my kitchen stayed clean. #winwin
I had a girl’s night earlier this week and right before I walked out the door this was my view. The fact that these three have this guy as their dad melts my heart. What a blessing he is! They were eating dinner and playing with Nixon’s small professional football little people. Tab would hold up a guy and say the city/state. For example, “Dallas” and they were supposed to say, “Cowboys”. As I walked out the door…
Tab: “Tennessee”
Ebby Lee: “Sheep?”
hahahahaha!! That sums up why they need some alone time with Dad.
GREAT NEWS!!! Fancy Ashley and I are hosting a fun link-up the third Tuesday of every month called Tuesday Talk. We’ll be chatting like girlfriends getting together for coffee about anything and everything you want to share. Sometimes I might rant about traffic, ask for help about how to keep up with the laundry (because you know me and laundry), or share funny things that have been happening around here.
