Friday Favorites-Memorial Day Weekend

EEEEK!!!

Today kicks off one of my FAVORITE weekends of the year….MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!

I love living in my town all year long but McKinney really shines this weekend. We’ve got lots of fun plans and are READY for you, Friday!

#1 Bachelorette Hannah

Okay, who is watching The Bachelorette?? I messed up and forgot to record the first episode but managed to catch up on Hulu. And while I was a major skeptic when Alabama Hannah was announced as the new Bachelorette, I’m not hating it one bit. I think she’s being real, 100% genuine, and truly herself. I think it’s safe to say-I’m a FAN!

If you’re watching, what guy are you rooting for? After the first episode, I was TEAM LUKE but was that whole, “I’m STARTING to fall in love with you” stint a little too much?

And I need to give a shout out to my girl, Sheaffer!! My oh my, how I’m missing those Bachelorette recaps on Wednesdays!

#2 Summer READY!

I’ve been doing everything to get myself POOL and SUMMER ready! {And by that I mean buying the things we use at the pool-not eating only vegetables. :)} I love a fun pair of earrings for days spent pool side but I do not like to spend a lot of money on anything I know will probably get wet and only last me a couple months. My favorite solution? The Bauble Bar section at Target! I ordered several fun statement earrings {like this pair} and bracelets to get me ready for summer! And you know my favorite sunglasses are these.

#3 AMAZON FINDS
Don’t mind the crazy picture, but did you see my AMAZON post earlier this week? It was a favorite among you guys. If you missed it, check it out. {My palm print pajamas are here!}

#4 Before We Were Yours
Okay, friends. I’m giving you a little preview of my first Summer Reads 2019 book. 😉 I just finished Before We Were Yours this week and it was a definite FAVORITE! I had a reader comment that she was having the hardest time getting into it. I have to tell you-THAT WAS ME! I actually started reading back in the winter, had a tough time getting into it, and stopped reading! I cleaned my closet out this weekend and happened to find the book. I’m gonna say 1/4 of the way in-I was hooked. If this is you, KEEP READING! This book is heartbreaking, touching, and inspirational. Trust me when I say-there’s a reason it landed as a FAVORITE!
