Three cheers for the weekend!! This short week has in fact felt very short to me. What about you? It’s been school, practices, and sports on repeat in our house so it’s flown by!
Andrea and I have a list of FRIDAY FAVORITES to share! I’m sharing some random pictures from the last week that include some of my faves…
I shared back in January how I’m following The Bible Recap’s reading plan to read through the Bible in a year. I got behind over the summer so I’m frantically catching up this month so I can hit the New Testament with the rest of the group on October 1st! {Or at least I think I heard someone say that’s the plan?} This reading plan has been a FAVORITE for me this year.

Another FAVORITE? Date night with the besties over that long Labor Day weekend! Shay and I showed up looking very similar from the waist up. 😂😂

A FAVORITE from Nixon’s football game over the past weekend was this flag tribute honoring the thirteen soldiers killed in Afghanistan. The team ran out with thirteen flags and we all had chills watching in the stands. It’s because of men and women who bravely fight that we can in fact sit in those stands watching a football game on a Saturday afternoon.
Tab was off so he got to be there on Saturday. I’m not sure which of these two was happier about that.
The Steelers got the W!

Bowen and I wore our green this week in honor of World Duchenne Awareness Day. One of our FAVORITE things to do is support other families going through some tough times and hopefully some special families felt some extra love this week. Please be praying for the B family!

My FAVORITE seventh grader kicked off cheer season this week!
Look how cute these two are!
Now I’m off to work on some Walt Disney World vacations before the weekend hits! Have a happy Friday!

Your makeup looks so good in that picture of you and Shay twinning! What foundation have you been using lately? Can you do an updated make-up routine post? Have a great weekend!
LOVE that pic of EL and K! SO CUTE!
I am SO SAD we missed the game on Saturday!!! I wish I could have seen it in person. So proud of those boys and coaches and whichever mom came up with that idea! ❤️
That Inspired Chick
What a lovely tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Thanks for hosting! It's my first time posting in this link up in literally years – trying to get back to the blogging world and boy it feels good!
