Friday Favorites

WAHOO for Friday and a three-day weekend!!  Just like every Friday, I’m teaming up with Narci and Andrea to bring you our Friday Favorites linky-party.  We’d love for you to team up and join us!

This weekend is going to be a fun one!  We’re going to watch Tab’s first football game of the season.  My parents are coming to town AND we have some family friends coming to visit as well.

Here are some of my random favorites from the week…

The second day of school started off with a BANG!  ðŸ™‚

How the two on the left felt about going and how the kid on the right felt about not getting to go.  Sometimes it stinks to be the baby.  #butmostofthetimeitdoesnt

Have you guys heard of this game, Bean Boozled?  There are several different sets of jelly beans that look the same but one tastes like chocolate pudding and the other canned dog food.  You have to spin the spinner and choose whatever color it tells you.  Then it’s all up to chance.  ha!  You choose one and either get lucky or not so much.  My children LOVED this!!  Nixon’s face in the bottom right is after he ate a skunk spray jelly bean and his breath smelled EXACTLY like a skunk!  UGH!!

Look what arrived last week!!  A box of our very favorite bows from One Stop Bow Shop.  Ebby Lee was in desperate need of some fall colored bows.  One Stop Bow Shop to the rescue!!

These might be my favorites…mustard, sapphire, pink burlap, and gold!

Day 3-On this day Nixon realized that he goes five days a week and only gets two off.  Very different than preschool where he went only Tuesday and Thursday.  ðŸ™‚

Cheers to being the only kiddo’s at the pool!

And because the first week of school isn’t exhausting enough, (I kid) we thought we’d go to our hometown football game on Thursday night.

We had a GREAT time…until we scored, I cheered, and then knocked the guy sitting next to me’s water bottle over.  He was super cool about it “because it was just water but sometimes there’s vodka and that would have been a different story”.  That was a direct quote!  Thank goodness it was water!  haha!

Friday night we were all craving some Mexican food (or maybe it was just me?) so we met the Shulls for dinner and some play time at this outdoor play area.  Then Bowen decided to throw Nixon’s tennis shoe in the stagnant water.  Can you say, “GROSS”??  Ugh!  This was us figuring out how to get it out in the most sanitary way possible.

WAHOO!!!  A new photo-a-day challenge is always one of my FAVORITES!!  You should join us!  You take a picture of the theme for that day…so today we’re sharing something “To Our Left”.  Post and make sure to use #thephotochallenge2015.

Have a FABULOUS Friday!!
