Happy Friday! This week feels like it flew by and drug on ALL at the same time. #howisthatpossible
It is officially SUMMER in our house!
#schoolsoutforsummer
I’m joining my girls, Narci and Andrea, for our Friday Favorites. All you bloggers out there should join us. You simply post a blog of your favorites. Favorite ANYTHING. 🙂 Make sure you link back to all of us or one of us because that’s just polite and an unspoken blogger rule. I think? And then at the bottom of this post there’s a little blue button that says “Add your link”. Click on that and follow the prompts to add your blog to our link-up. I got an e-mail asking exactly how to link-up so I thought I’d detail it today. 🙂 If anyone still has questions, e-mail me and I’m happy to help.
This week was my kiddos last week of school so we had all the festivities and fun to celebrate.
First grade had Aloha Day to say goodbye to first grade. There were stations set up and all the groups rotated through each station. A station hit was definitely the fruit kabobs.
The “Tacky Tourist Obstacle Course” was a great photo op!
The kindergarten had SPLASH DAY! Nixon was a fan. 🙂
And apparently he’s super cool when covered in shaving cream.
I love a little comparison….first day in 1st and kinder/last day in 1st and kinder.
Last day of first grade for this sweet girl. She absolutely LOVED her teacher and is so sad to be moving on to second grade.
This guy had a GREAT year in kindergarten. He greatly exceeded my expectations in the school department. He rocked it and I couldn’t be prouder.
Do you see the blonde cutie on the top row? 🙂
The kindergarten class had a little ceremony for the parents. They sang some cute songs and showed a video. The video, of course, had pictures from the year with a sappy song. It pulled at my mama heart strings.
So proud of this kid and thankful for an awesome year! Nixon’s teacher was fabulous! We couldn’t have loved her more. I’m keeping my fingers crossed Bowen gets to have her in a few years.
Ebby Lee had a fabulous year in first grade as well! I was prepared for her to sob when we had to leave yesterday. She ADORED her first grade teacher. She was awesome and Ebby Lee just “can’t imagine an entire summer without her”. This teacher will always hold a special place in Ebby Lee’s heart. #andminetoo
