Friday Favorites

WAHOO!!!  Today is the FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF SUMMER here in Texas!  And we are living it up!  I hope you are too.  ðŸ˜‰

I’m joining my girls, Andrea and Narci, to share my Friday Favorites!  In true Friday fashion, I have a random group of favorites for you.

First up is this package I got in the mail this week.  Let me tell you this MADE MY DAY!  {If you look closely, you can see the tissue paper was ripped, that’s because I was dying to open everything!} I’ve shared my love of Erin Condren before {here and here}, but I’m about to gush over these goodies all over again!  If you’re like me, nothing helps you stay more organized than a cute planner and Erin knows how to DELIVER in the cute planner department!  I’ve been using her Lifeplanner for the last three years…nothing compares in my mind.  The planner runs from July to the following December-so eighteen months.

There’s a month-at-a-glance and then pages for each week with places to write daily to-dos.

And then of course, she has the CUTEST extras!  If you’ve been contemplating an Erin Condren planner, I’d recommend you go for it!  One of my FAVORITES!

***************

I don’t want to brag or anything, but I’m pretty positive I have the BEST friends and family on the planet.  When we walked off the fourteen hour flight, exhausted, tired, and hungry THIS was the scene we walked into.  These people are my FAVORITES.  They were texting, e-mailing, and praying for us and I’m just so thankful for each and everyone.

We arrived home to THIS in our yard.  Definitely a FAVORITE!  I had plans to take a picture of the six of us with it but completely blew my mind.  #iblamethejetlag

Apparently, my theme today is GUSHING.  I’m about to gush on our favorite bows as well.  Casey over at One Stop Bow Shop has been making Ebby Lee’s bows for years.  They’re our very favorites.  Anytime you see a bow on Ebby Lee’s head-which is pretty much daily-that girl LOVES a bow-please know it came from One Stop Bow Shop.

The bows come in a variety of sizes and Casey always has the cutest ribbon choices.  She also has bows that match Matilda Jane clothes perfectly.  If you click here, you can check out all the options for the MJ.  If you follow along on Instagram, there is always a fun giveaway or promotion going on.  The Instagram is here and you can shop the bows here.  Right now you can use the code, “Erika”, for 20% off your order through June 11th.  Now is the time for some bow stocking up!  Thank you, Casey, for the promo code!

Let me tell you what’s NOT a favorite this week….JET LAG!  I’m going to be honest.  The jet lag part of our trip once we returned home was a beat down.  I think we’re smooth sailing now {hopefully} but it was rough.  One day this weekend we had family movie morning and were all watching a movie together at 4:00 AM!!  UGH!

***************

I guessed well on all the clothes we took on our trip for Britt.  A few things were a little big, but it all could be worn.  However, I was WAY off in the shoe department.  She has the teeniest, tiniest little feet.  She can wear a size ONE-I’m talking BABY, BABY feet.  I just searched Nordstrom for some new baby shoes and found these.  Aren’t they cute?!  {And they’re on SALE!}  I can’t wait for Miss Britt to be sporting these sandals all summer long.  I hope they’re a FAVORITE for her as well.  ðŸ™‚

***************

The Saturday evening before we left for China Marla hosted an adorable Chinese dinner for us.  I don’t remember why my kids are all in their pajamas {again, I’m gonna blame the jet lag for the memory} but she had yummy Chinese food, the cutest decorations, and everyone had a little bag full of goodies.  Definitely a FAVORITE night before heading out of town.

***************

I shared this dress as an option for Easter when we were all shopping for those.  Well now it’s 40% off so I wanted to let you know.  If you’re still on the look out for a cute summer dress, check it out!

Thank you guys for stopping by today!  It feels good to be back!  I have something fun planned on Monday and then Wednesday I’ll have our first China post up.  Have a great weekend!  XO

Aw, that is little feet! I'm glad that all is well and you're all home safe with your little one. That's too sweet of all your friends for the China dinner, and the signs at the airport, and that sign in your yard! Adorable.

So glad you guys are home! Your homecoming photos brought tears to my eyes. You all love each other so well! WOW! The sign is awesome too! I told my husband we need to get that started up here in the midwest ;). Have a great weekend and so glad you got through the jet leg, I remember that from our trip to Australia when our babies were 2.5 and 5 months….lots and lots and lots of coffee required! xoxo ERIN

One Stop Bow Shop is my favorite as well! I started buying from her a few years ago and I always get compliments on my girls' bows. I like that it's "shopping local" even though I'm in Iowa 🙂
    BRITT is absolutely precious. Congrats!

That huge sign in your hard….so sweet! That must have brought tears to your eyes.

I remember getting back from China….I made the fatal mistake of sleeping the first day back…..all day. I heard somewhere that it takes one day to recover for every hour in time change difference. So, basically almost 2 weeks to recover from a trip to China. Crazy!

    Have a great weekend!

So glad your blog is back this week and welcome back with little Britt!! The jet lag sounds awful, but hey, at least you're creative about having 4 am family movie time if everyone is awake anyways! Youll have to document those tiny little feet before they grow too much, even if it's just with washable ink and paper. Britt is just the cutest!!

Love it all, but one question, Why did Smith's sign say "No Buts No Guts No Coconuts"

Jennifer-I think that saying is maybe on some kid movie the boys have seen? Or maybe a book? Nixon isn't here or I'd ask him. I think they both think it's really funny because it has "but" in it. Seven-year-old BOY humor!!!

My daughter has TEENY TINY feet too! We love Elephantito shoes. They have little rubber paw print shaped grippers on the bottom and are super soft leather but hold up well. Plus a ton of cute colors!!
