Happy Friday, Friends!
Andrea, Narci, and I are sharing our Friday Favorites and we’d love for you to join us. Simply grab our graphic, link to us, and add your blog to the link up at the bottom of the post. Easy peasy!
In typical Friday fashion, I’ve got a hot random mess for you today.
First up, Nordstrom asked me to share a few new summer things. Of course I’ll talk clothes! Because I know how much you guys (and me as well) are fans of Nordstrom I quickly agreed. The free returns and free shipping make this mama of four (with a big ‘ol pile of laundry) a happy shopper who never has to leave her house! (And it feels like I never leave that laundry pile either! ha!).
*I should add I showered and washed my hair for these pictures. I also managed to find one angle in our house that didn’t contain a football, dinosaur, baby toy, or craft supply at the moment. 🙂 #allabouttheangle
This dress is casual on top and party on bottom. Similar to a certain hairstyle, but WAY cuter! 😉 It could be dressed up or dressed down and is the perfect length.
I wanted you to see the back as well.
The second I put this top on I was thinking of all you hardcore football fans. Wouldn’t this top be cute at a football game? For a fall party? Or a summer barbecue? Around here the weather stays nice and warm long into the fall months. This top will carry me all the way through!
The sleeves were so cute. Some of these off-the-shoulder tops have a hard time staying in place but this one is made to stay off-the-shoulder.
I’m not sure how many black and white gingham tops one should own, but I’m hoping the answer is TWO! 😉 I love the one-shoulder look. It gives any top just a dressier finish, but it doesn’t necessarily look like we’re heading to the club. Know what I mean? This little gem found a new life in my closet.
This top screamed, “SUMMER” to me. Can you hear it? White with thin gray stripes, off-the-shoulder, and fun sleeves make the perfect summer top. And if your jeans need to be ironed-well that’s just optional. ha!
Trying to get a picture of the sleeves apparently requires me to look down. 🙂
This Halogen eyelet top is so cute paired with white jeans, white shorts, or denim. I put a little cami under mine and called it a day.
The back was a little longer…hard to tell in the picture.
Does anything look more polished in the summer than a white top? NO! I paired this top with white jeans for the pictures and with some coral shorts for a birthday dinner this week. (But I forgot a picture.)
I apologize in advance for the lack of an iron. This top is another summer fave.
The back is my favorite part.
I love love love this top! This is another one that will take me from summer to fall.
I wanted you to see the back again. 🙂
Could someone please invite me to an event so I can wear this jumpsuit? This also comes in black but my size was sold out when I ordered. This is a little out of my fashion comfort zone, but I am a huge fan!
Another view…seriously, waiting for my invitation. 🙂
And this cold shoulder dress is perfect for a night out on the town. It is on the verge of being too short for me so perfect for you girls under 5’6″.

Tab and I had a date night last Friday night with Miss Britt in tow. We’re feeling like she’s super attached so a legit date night is probably in our future. But for the time being we enjoyed our third wheel. 😉

Family walk around the neighborhood and I saw Bowen grab Tab’s hand. Melt my heart.

Tab’s dad has a birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY G! Due to our schedules we celebrated a few days early at Babe’s Chicken House this week. I’m not sure what they do to the corn at Babe’s but I couldn’t get enough!
We had a little time to kill before Ebby Lee’s basketball game so we decided to drive by the Dude Perfect headquarters. And I’m going to admit something…my kids are stalkers. They were quick to tell us the guys wouldn’t park up front so they had us drive around the back to check for cars. And as we were driving off Bowen named everyone’s first name. (I was super impressed-he’s four!) Then things got creepy….Nixon upped Bowen one by naming all the guys’ first AND last names! #littlestalkers
*And huge shout out to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post. THANK YOU!
I hope you guys have a GREAT weekend! XO
