Happy Friday!
I’m joining forces with my girls, Andrea and Narci, to host the Friday Favorites link-up. Every Friday we invite you to join us. Grab our graphic, link back to us, and add your link to the bottom of the post.
Here are some of my FAVORITES from the week…
*DINNER MENU*
I know I’ve told you this before but at the beginning of the school year I am ON my “A” game. Meals are planned for the week, groceries have been curbside-pick-upped, laundry is caught up…I’m telling you-my “A” game. I’ve been trying a new recipe every night and we had Mom’s Meatloaf (courtesy of Shay) last week. I know I’ve made it before but my kids RAVED about how good it was. Like could not stop talking about it. Even my pickiest eater asked for seconds. MOM-WIN!

*FAVORITE BOOK*
You might have seen the preview for the movie, Wonder, which is based on the book? A girlfriend posted last week that her and her kiddos (about my big kiddos’ ages) read this book together at night and were excited for the movie. I LOVED this idea! Ebby Lee and I started on Monday reading aloud-taking turns and it’s been such a good time with my big girl.

*FAVORITE MULES*
You guys were as crazy as I was over these mules with the cute little bows. They come in a variety of colors…mustard, a pretty pink, red, and more…you’ll be seeing me in these all fall. Maybe you need a pair too? 😉

My friend, Kristin, {I’ve introduced you guys before but you need to follow her} shared this maternity sweatshirt on her Instagram a while back. I ordered it ASAP and I LOVE it. I’ve always worn maternity tanks to get the long length, but WHY have I never thought about comfy, maternity sweatshirts? You can’t tell it’s maternity one bit, it’s a little spicy compared to a normal sweatshirt because of the ruffles, and it makes me look a little more put together if I’m just hanging at home or running errands. I wore this on the way home from the lake trip. I was clearly channeling fall-every time I got out of the air conditioned car and walked around I started sweating. haha!
Kristin also kept sharing her love of these workout capri pants and I finally caved. I must tell you. Now I totally “get it”. These pants are like butter…so so soft. You know how people ask…”Where do you see yourself in ten years?”….well, I kind of would like to respond-“IN THESE PANTS BECAUSE THEY’RE SO STINKIN’ COMFORTABLE!”. 🙂

This summer I took a pretty big blogging break and went from five days of blogging to three. In September, I’m making a new goal for myself of four blogging days every week. I’ll for sure stick to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays but I’ll change it up between Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’ve got it all written down in my Erin Condren. 🙂

*SOME SALES*
Blurry pic…but I just saw this top in pink is on sale-40% off right now. I like how the back is longer than the front. 🙂
This top is on sale too and comes in five different colors.
This Zella workout top is now on sale as well and it comes in a variety of colors too.

*THANK YOU*
Thank YOU for all the sweet messages, texts, call, and e-mails about Britt. She had bilateral cleft palate surgery on Wednesday morning. We stayed one night in the hospital (I’m typing this on Thursday mid-morning) and we’re hoping we get to go home. She needs to be drinking and that just isn’t happening yet. We might stay again tonight or be released later today. Either way, your support, encouragement, and sweet prayers were FELT! A huge THANK YOU to our tribe holding down the fort with the big kids. I couldn’t have done it without you! XO
Our holiday weekend will consist of a lot of snuggling on the couch and movies. Hopefully, our girl will be feeling much better soon. I hope you have a great weekend too!
LOVE Wonder! I've been reading it with my 5th graders for the past 3 years. It's just amazing and I love it more and more every time I read it. Prayers for Britt for a speedy recovery.
I love the idea about reading "Wonder" together! We will do it too!
Happy Friday, friend!! Praying BIG TIME for you this weekend!! xo
Glad to hear Brit is doing well! I love that purple top and think the pink would be just as pretty 🙂 Enjoy your snuggles this weekend!

So glad the surgery went well. Hope you guys got to go home yesterday! xo
Erica – when my son had cleft surgery we fed him with medicine droppers/syringes for a while. I mixed his formula with baby cereal to make it thicker. Praying she is drinking this morning.
Awe, sending prayers for your sweet girl!!
Wonder is so good! You girls are going to love that book!
Precious girl, Britt! Lifting her up in prayer now that she is drinking a good amount and on the mend soon! I follow Kristin too, she is so fun and I have seen that sweatshirt and it's so cute. PS there is another one with a little knot look in the front in that same section that is darling too! Xoxo ERIN
So happy Britt's surgery went well. I've gone through that with a dear friend for her son. He had a severe cleft lip and palette. So hard to see and watch little ones go through, but now he's almost 20 and just wonderful! Praying the weekend will be easy and she'll be drinking and lots of snuggling soon.
Big prayers for that sweet girl!!! And you!! Hugs, friend!
That Inspired Chick

Those mustard mules are so cute!! I need those in my closet for fall!
Would you ever consider doing a post about what you eat in a day?
Hope Britt is drinking & well on her way to feeling better very soon!
Lots of prayers for Miss Britt!
