Disney World-Days 5 and 6

Day 5:  Magic Kingdom (Extra Day)
We started off the day with breakfast at Chef Mickey’s.  This was my absolute favorite meal!  Maybe because everyone was “into” the character thing by day five?  I’m not sure, but even Nixon was posing.  That’s huge!!

Let me pause a second and fill you in on Night #4.  It was HORRIBLE!!  I woke up at 11:30 SICK to my stomach.  I threw up and my stomach hurt pretty much ALL night long!  I had it in my head that I was going to have to skip part of Day 5…just so I could recover.  But…I knew the entire Mickey Crew would be at breakfast and we had plans to meet two VERY special princesses, so I put my big girl mama panties on and joined the group for another day.  When my kiddos are older, I MIGHT bring this up…just to remind them what a great mom I was…hahaha!

Check him OUT!!!

And…he was OVER it!!  Bring on the characters, Nixon Slaughter would like to pose for a pic!!

Bowen is a BIG Mickey Mouse fan.  Homeboy was pumped about seeing Mickey!

Slaughter Four…(I’m probably trying to forget the smell of bacon and eggs at this point…haha!)

The girls & Minnie….see??  I looked a little rough!

And…apparently when I wear hats I like to cover up my eyes?!  It looks like I can hardly see out of that thing?!

Flashback to…
Destin Beach Trip 2013…look at my hat?  Ridiculous!!  IF you see me around town in a hat, and I’m walking around like I can’t see…PLEASE stop me!  hahahahahaha!!  Oh my!  Back to the vacation pictures!!

Then the entire crew sang and danced.  They had all the kiddos and adults wave their napkins over their heads.

Melt my heart!!!  Bowen even got into it!!

The kiddos LOVED it!!

Nixon’s face…LOVE it!!  He is a HUGE dog fan…so Pluto was just the person he wanted to see.

Then we hit up Magic Kingdom for a little extra time around the park.  We had a couple fast passes for some things the kiddos wanted to do AGAIN!  We hit up this splash park and Bowen was LOVING it!!  Until…he couldn’t figure out how to get back to the dry area.  He finally just started crying!

Nixon’s request…Buzz Lightyear ride again!

I don’t remember what these pictures are called…but we all took a turn. 🙂

Made the ENTIRE trip worth it!!  We scored a fast pass to MEET ANNA AND ELSA!!!

They were the sweetest!!!  Ebby Lee was so shy and quiet, but she managed to ask Anna if she married Kristoff.  Anna quickly replied that she hadn’t because he hadn’t asked her yet.  And…Ebby Le said that Elsa’s hand was so cold!

“Mom, can you take my picture with Bowen and Minnie”
We ended the night with more swimming at the resort AND Mama needed a little rest!  haha!

Day 6:  Hollywood Studios
On our way into the park, we saw the BEGINNING of the line for Chip & Dale forming so we decided we should go meet them.  I mean…look at Nixon!  He was like a different kid by the end of the week!

It also happened to be Mother’s Day (and Bruce’s birthday)!! I was glad to be spending my day with these sweet mamas.  This is us waiting PATIENTLY in line for the Toy Story ride.  We waited an hour for the ride.  That was our longest wait BY FAR the entire time!!

We came up with ALL kinds of games to kill time in line.

Then we split up…Mom and I took Ebby Lee and Bowen to the Little Mermaid show.  The boys and Kelly all went to the Indiana Jones stunt show.  Ebby Lee loved the mermaid show (and so did I)!!

Nixon could NOT stop talking about this show!!

We had a few minutes to kill before we met back up and E spotted Sofia!

We love Sofia at our house!!

What is this face??  hahaha!  Then we headed to the Disney Jr. Live show.

This is me trying to keep Bowen quiet and seated before the show starts!

We had dinner reservations at a Mexican restaurant in Epcot so we headed over for dinner and a quick boat ride.  Boat ride selfie!

Girl can pose.  Even on a boat.  Even on a ride.  ðŸ™‚

After dinner we went back to Hollywood Studios to see their big night show.  It was SO GOOD!!!  Definitely a MUST SEE at Disney!!

We made some amazing memories with this crew!!

What a GREAT way to end the trip!!!  (or so I THOUGHT it was over…more to come on that…hahaha!)

I have absolutely loved seeing all of the pics. And Nixon really was a different kid by the end of the trip! Bowen crying broke my heart. It takes a lot to make that kid cry! And let's take a minute to talk about EL's french braids. Were those the result of your made skills?!?

Looks like you had so much fun! I love your Target tanks and want to pick some up for running around with kiddos this summer, but was wondering what kind of a bra you wear with the racer back tanks? I sports bra, just a regular racer back style…?? Crazy question, I know! 🙂

I'm not sure I've EVER seen EL smile so big as in these pics… so so so cute!!! And I am SUPER impressed with her french braided pigtails. I am a total FLOP at braiding… when the day comes I'll be driving G to your house in the morning 🙂

You get extra super mom points for doing Disney while sick. Those kids smiles looked totally worth it though.

Erin…so sorry I missed this comment!!! I wear a strapless bra. That way I don't have to worry about my straps showing. Mine are tight enough not to slip.
