I hope you’re CURRENTLY doing great!
What a cool post! Thanks for sharing!!
Loved reading this! Thanks for sharing!
Linking up our perfect wedding day over at Stripes & Solitaires today!
Those little shoe balls are the best! (Just make sure you close them when not in use or they don't last as long) I also put the renuzit super odor killer in original scent in all of our closets!
I need that STAT!! 🙂
So many thoughts: I want to go back and have baby Nixon too! That was the sweetest picture!!! And precious little Bowen…it's like he cannot help it! He MUST squeeze her cheeks!
One more day with that squishy baby!!! And he really can't help it. He's an addict and drug of choice is Madeley's cheeks.
That was fun! Bowen CANNOT RESIST Madeley's cheeks, and it's just so dang cute! It's like a moth to the flame. 🙂
Moth to the flame….YES!!!
Oh, I loved this!! I had to laugh at the stinky boy shoes! Been there!
Erika…..I'm a teacher from Colorado Springs. My son and I have season passes at Breckenridge. Not sure where you're taking the family but if it's here I can gladly share where to dine, kid stuff, etc….
I don't know if you have any essential oils on hand, but a few drops in each shoe works wonders! Young Living has one called purification and it's amazing.
i love cleaning out and organizing closets. It's so satisfying!
I cannot wait to get my hands on that Sally Hepworth book!!
Put a dryer sheet in each shoe when they take them off for the day :). That's what the military guys do in the field and it works like a charm.
Fun post :). I just updated a few light fixtures in our house and used Ballard Designs and Lamps Plus. I found so many cool fixtures!
I love bowen.. what a sweetie !!!
This was a GREAT post! Thanks for sharing!
This is a great website (dont let the name deter you) here's the link https://www.rhbabyandchild.com/catalog/category/products.jsp?parentCatId=rhbc_cat101061&topCatId=rhbc_cat101010&categoryId=rhbc_cat377241&sale=false
You should "take the day off" and watch Netflix with Tab all day long!!!
I would check Wayfair, Pottery Barn and surprisingly Lowe's has a huge selection online! If I lived closer, I would totally organize everything for you. Being a professional organizer is my dream job 🙂
If the shoe closet has a plug in,I recommend Glade Plug In Air Fresheners. If not, I recommend Glade's Solid Air Fresheners (where you twist it open). Would definitely help with odor!
I've been praying for Manda as well. I don't know her (but have followed her story through you all), but she's really been on my heart and mind lately.
I wash my boys shoes all the time! I have a hand wash cycle on my washer I do them on that and it is easy on them. Also, you might have to ask Narci about this one… Young Living has an oil called purification, you put a drop or two on a cotton ball and put them in the shoe overnight. The smell will be gone, no joke! It's amazing! Trust me you will want to know this as soon as your boys start playing football. Those cleats, I had no idea anything could stink that bad!
Loved this post. And really needed to read that Bible verse today 🙂
I love this sight for lighting and feel like a lot of people don't know about it:
We have the Sanger Large Chandelier in our master bedroom and it makes the most beautiful, sparkles (like diamonds) all over the bedroom. We also had a dimmer put on it, which makes it super romantic. In fact, we have a dimmer on all of our light fixtures and its an easy way to change the mood and ambiance in a room for parties or other activities.
Hi! I love that yall have started watching Dude Perfect videos and are trying some trick shots at your house!!! You can tell your kids that it sometimes takes the guys more than 30 minutes to get one shot so to not give up! Haha!

Hi Erika! You mentioned needing help organizing closets – you should check out Libby Huffines at Libby and Labels, LLC (www.libbyandlabels.com or http://www.facebook.com/libbyandlabels). That's exactly what she does and she's SO good at it!
Also, I'm a big iced tea fan and love having it at home – if you haven't tried it already, I suggest getting the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker (it's around $15 at Walmart!) and asking your favorite places to get tea if they will sell you the tea they use. For example, I love the iced tea at Blue Mesa Grill in Frisco, TX, so I buy it from there! Just ask the cashier / waiter and they'll typically do it for you 🙂
I love reading your blog – thanks for bringing a smile to so many faces!
