Most of the time what I’m sharing over here are the things I’m dealing with, topics that are coming up in our house, and just things that are important to me. I’ve been busy spending my day times {and sometimes my nights} talking nothing but vacations for Mix and Match Travel families. And we’ve been doing a lot of chit-chatting about SPRING BREAK. It got me to thinking…I wonder if my blogger friends have already made their SPRING BREAK plans? Periodically, I talk to new clients who are wanting to travel in thirty days or less. While it’s totally possible to plan most trips so quickly, I just thought I’d give you a little nudge if you’re thinking about heading out of town for SPRING BREAK. Now is the time to get to planning!
Just in case you need a few ideas…
Maybe your crew is looking to spend a few days at Walt Disney World combined with a few resort days?
Or you want to set sail on a Disney Cruise?
Skiing in Beaver Creek?
Or in Vail?
Whatever the case may be, NOW is the time to get those plans taken care of. If you’re needing some help planning your trip, please reach out to us at Mix and Match Travel. We’d love to help you! E-mail us at mixandmatchtravelagency@yahoo.com to learn more. Right now, we’re planning Walt Disney World trips, any cruise vacations, Hawaii vacations, and international trips. We’d love to help you and your family!
Okay, if you’re heading out of town for Spring Break, let me know WHERE ARE YOU SPRING BREAKIN’ IT this year?
Happy Monday!
XO
Chris has been talking about wanting to take Carter skiing, but I'm afraid Carter will hate it. Do we just try it and see? Let's be honest, we'll probably end up at the ranch! 🙂
I love the idea of a cruise on spring break. We had the best time doing that Disney Cruise a few years ago!!
Sadly, up here in Pennsylvania our spring break is always combined with easter. We only ever get Thursday, Friday and Easter Monday off. Plus I think two of those days could be taken away as snow days. We never get an opportunity to go away during the school year. Even Christmas is only Christmas Eve thru New Years Day. We always go back January 2nd. Is Texas the rare one that gets a huge Winter break and also a long spring break? Makes me jealous.
I am also in Pennsylvania and my girls get Thurs, Fri, Mon off around Easter. So we don’t usually looking at spring break for big vacations! Last year they had this odd week in which they had 2 full days and then 2 half days and a Fri and Mon off. We headed off to Disney that week. I am a year round special ed teacher but I was lucky to get that week approved! I am always open to cheap quick trip suggestions!!
I'm in Ohio, and we get a long winter break and a long spring break! But again, with snow and cold, they could always take away spring break days if needed.
Whoop! Whoop! I love spring break!!!
We get 2 weeks off for fall break, 2 weeks at Christmas, and 2 weeks for spring. But I only get 5 weeks off a year at work, so it makes it a little tricky to go somewhere every time the kids are out of school. My son is in marching band and next year we are all going to NYC the week of Thanksgiving because his school is marching in the Macy's parade! So we may skip trips this year and just save up for those 7 days….
My family and my sister's family (8 of us) are road tripping from Indianapolis to Washington, D.C.! We'll have 3 teenagers and a 4th grader with us so we are really excited to be able to show them our nation's capital! And only two of the four adults have been there so should be fun for all. 🙂
For most vacations to book in advance do you need half down to reserve?
Back to The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs!
Our family almost always spends spring break in the Smoky Mountains. We love it there.
