On Mondays I always like to recap our weekends but CLEARLY I need to be taking more fun pictures!! I’ll do better this weekend. I promise! 🙂
Friday night we had a kid-free-triple-date-night with some of our besties…Whitney, Me, and Shay. We celebrated Whitney and her hubby’s January birthdays. It’s always so much fun hanging out with these girls!!
Saturday, Marla invited Ebby Lee out for a girl’s day and they agreed I could tag along! Marla came over Saturday morning to pick us up for our date!
Marla asked Ebby Lee what she wanted to do and her first response was, “Go shopping at Charming Charlie’s”! Oh my!! My sweet girl went from sweet to DIVA in about 2.5 seconds!!
Then Marla and I hit up a shoe store for us!!
Just that morning I’d been thinking about our upcoming vacation and was trying to figure out a couple good pairs of shoes for the trip. I even consulted Sheaffer via text and was getting her opinion!! I was looking for something super comfortable and check out what we found!! Skecher’s Go-Walks! I got the grey, but they come in black, khaki, pink, coral, red, turquoise, blue, and on and on. After trying them on I remembered Shay blogging about these last year after her vacation!! They are SO comfortable! If you can imagine what walking on clouds feels like, then you can imagine wearing these shoes! ha!

Then it was pedicure time!! And wait for it…
Her inner-DIVA came out AGAIN!!! Whose kid is this?? We had a FABULOUS girl’s day with Marla!
Sunday morning…sometimes it gets crazy getting all kids ready for church. It looks like Bowen gave up!! “Don’t put lotion on me, Dad”!! haha!
It was a BEAUTIFUL day yesterday but the wind was out of control!! We lasted only thirty minutes at the park. I’m pretty sure the wind gave me an ear infection. It was NUTS!!
Our friends, the Smiths, met us at the park.
Nixon had a Nutella mustache after dinner. Crazy boy!
After baths, they snuggled in for a little movie.
And this boy went to bed! It was a GREAT weekend!!

Renee…no, I will not wear socks with them. They fit tightly around your foot so I don't even think socks would fit. I have the Toms booties and I'm so impressed you wore then in Vegas. I love them, but I don't know if I could do that!! And..thank you!
