I got back to Texas on Monday afternoon, but Tab (because of work) arrived on Tuesday afternoon. The kiddos and I went to pick him up (looking a little shabby after school). When we were loading up, Tab said that we should stop by Bass Pro. My mom took the kiddos while we were gone and they couldn’t stop talking about how much fun it was. So…we went to see all the fun Christmas stuff for ourselves!
So impromptu…Miss Priss was bowless! ha!

Ebby Lee had declared it a “Girl Picture” and Mr. Nix snuck in just in time. Bass Pro was decorated SO pretty!!! I love twinkling lights and Christmasy stuff.
This reindeer (the guy told us it was actually a caribou) talked when you got close. I think Nixon was trying to mimic him.
Bowen liked him.
Ebby Lee found something she’d love to have for Christmas. I think that little pink tent got her!
Nix found something too! I took pictures so I wouldn’t forget. I’m going to be in trouble when I get older. I already have a hard time remembering stuff like this!!

We all checked out the fish. B is getting too big for his britches!! He turns one next week???
They got to ride the merry-go-round.

Tab and I have a serious problem. For some reason, every time we see the Duck Dynasty guys cardboard style…we think we need to get our kiddos picture!!
See? Summer 2013-Destin, Florida…we like it even more if they’ll scratch their chins like the Robertsons. ha!
Ebby Lee couldn’t decide between the two. She told me she’d love either!
We finished the fun with this little game. The guns were WAY too big for them to even hold. Nix played a game with a bow and arrow and he rocked it!! He knocked ducks over. I was helping him, so there aren’t any pictures.
Needless to say, our little impromptu trip to Bass Pro was SO much fun!! The kiddos had a blast and so did we! If you have a chance before Christmas, you need to go check out the festivities!! (During the week, there was NO ONE there!)

I totally have to take my kids!! And Bowen…look how big he is?!?! It makes me sad! Our baby is growing up!

so we usually go on a weekend after the Gaylord… but seeing how totally EMPTY it was when you went we may have to check it out next week! SO FUN!
How fun! I didn't realize they decorated so much. Our youngest would LOVE that.
I always take the girls to Bass Pro because they give FREE pictures with Santa once he arrives!!! Then, they're super cheap to purchase after you get your free one- so much better than mall prices!
