Thanks for joining us for Part 3 of our ALL THINGS BACK TO SCHOOL WEEK! Every year I share a little Back to School check list to remind us all to get READY before the big day arrives. It’s just a little prep for all us mamas, teachers, aunts, grandmas, and more who are getting ready or sending kiddos off to school soon.
Clothes and Shoes
Ebby Lee: First up, if you missed my post on Monday. You should check it out! It was full of some adorable clothes for girls at great prices!
A few of Ebby Lee’s spots to shop are…
*Matilda Jane. She’s definitely phased out of the little girl section but likes to shop in the “Tween” department.
*Nordstrom. They have it all from shoes to workout gear to dresses.
*Old Navy. Old Navy did not disappoint this year. They have a store full of fall colors in all different cute styles.
I always stock up on some Monkey Bar Buddies for her as well. These are a cotton/spandex blend that really remind me a lot of “hot pants” we wore under our cheerleading uniform when I was in high school. I stocked up this year from Amazon…even easier!
The boys pretty much wear Under Armour all the time.
Britty is typically in Matilda Jane, hand-me-downs, Gap, or Old Navy.
For shoes this year…
Nordstrom didn’t let us down.
Dick’s was another great stop for athletic shoes.
J. Crew also has some really cute sneakers!
Backpacks and Water Bottles
Are your kiddos backpack and water bottle ready?
Ebby Lee ordered hers from Pottery Barn Teen and the boys both grabbed Under Armour options.
Britty still has hers from preschool last year and they’re both in great shape.
Planner
I tried a new planner this year…we’ll see how it goes! The price is GREAT! It has everything I like in a planner…a full month layout as well as week by week sections. I have lots of work to get this school ready but I’ll get there soon!
Breakfast
Whew! If you guys got all that taken care of, then I think you need to send a text to your girlfriends inviting them to a First Day of School Back to School Breakfast. My girlfriends and I have been doing this for years and it’s a great way to kick off the school year!
What am I forgetting? What else do I need to add to that list? Please HELP!
We actually left town yesterday for a little last hoorah before school starts. I’m gonna skip blogging tomorrow and see you back here tomorrow. Be sure to follow along on our adventures over on Instagram.

That picture of Miss Britt is one of my favorites of her!!! And I already know what I'm getting for breakfast. 😉
I've been using the Happy Planner for years. I'm a planner snob and I LOVE IT. You can get all kinds of inserts too, like cute note pads that click into the planner- pads of extra paper, file folder things to hold things, and pouches to click in for pens, etc. You can get them at Michaels (use a coupon) or AMAZON always has the extras. I LOVE THAT PLANNER
It's going to be such a great year!!!!
Those are my favorite planners!!! They make me happy!!
It’s going got be a great school year!!!
I ♥️ that planner. I have used them for a couple years now. That and color coded scheduling have made my life so much easier! Hope you all have a fantastic school year.
