A Painting Party

Yesterday we celebrated Ebby Lee’s 5th Birthday (EEK!!) at a Painting Party!!

We had the party downtown at this cute little pottery painting place.

The party favors were aprons monogrammed with each kiddos’ name (by Honey Pie Accessories).  I rolled up a little coloring kit with a few crayons.

Table is ALL ready….just waiting on our friends.  🙂

These cupcakes were so yummy!!!  The little paint palette on top was actually an iced sugar cookie!!  YUM!  They were from A Piece a Cake here in McKinney.  If you’re local, call Emily!!

I cannot believe this sweet girl will be FIVE on Wednesday!!  CRAZY!!  She is ALL about arts and crafts.  She even says she wants to be an artist when she grows up, so we thought a painting party was the PERFECT place to celebrate our girl!

She had a “Party Animal” theme, so each kiddo got to choose one animal to paint.

 Love my girl!!

The party was originally planned to be an all-girl event.  But…right before invitations were going out she changed her mind and thought she should ask Nixon (her brother) and Smith (because she’s going to marry him).  Love how her mind works!

Love all these sweet friends!!

When the last few kids were finishing up their painting, the helper got out dry erase boards and markers for them to get a little crafty.

 Then…it was CUPCAKE TIME!!

GIRL PIC!!!  LOVE this!!

We turned the lights off to make the candle even more exciting!!  haha!

These cupcakes were YUMMY!!

The birthday girl got to spin the wheel for a shot at the Grand Prize (I have no idea what the grand prize even was).  She won a little cupcake to paint the next time she’s in the store.

Game Time…for the last few minutes until the parents arrived!!!

Ebby Lee had SO much fun.  She said her very favorite part was getting to paint the pottery AND having fun with ALL her friends!!  Thank you to ALL her friends (and parents) who came out to celebrate our sweet girl turning FIVE!!!
