A Girl’s Trip

Two weekends ago some of my very favorite ladies (my mom, my aunt Rene’, my cousin Whitney, and her daughter Brynn) came to town.  Friday, I had a babysitter come so we could do some serious shopping without the kiddos!!  We started the day off with breakfast at Spoon’s a cute little diner downtown.

We hit up some other stores in downtown McKinney.

I love this girl!!  Whitney is just two years younger than me.  (Our moms are sisters.)  We grew up just 45 minutes apart, so we spent LOTS of time together!  Pretty much every holiday memory involves her and her family.  Love her!!

Marla joined us on our girls’s day and agreed to chauffeur.  I was in the very back and had been laughing from all the crazy things they were saying!  I snapped a pic to remember! hahaha!

Then…we hit up the MALL!!!  The Nordstrom sale was happening and they needed to participate!

Whitney found these super cute booties that went home with her!!

We managed to squeeze in a little pedicure time.  🙂

For dinner we grabbed the kiddos (and Tab) and met the Shulls for dinner.

After dinner we hung out with our friends while the kiddos did some swimming.  It was SO nice outside!!

This guy got BRAVE and WET!

Saturday morning…the agenda was a bike ride to the park!

Then we hit up the mall to see a movie.

And…we had a little ice cream treat for dessert.

We went back to our house.  I thought we were swimming, cooking out, and staying at HOME!!  So…my hair was a mess (because I went under and swam with the kids).  Right after dinner, Tab handed me this blindfold and told me to put it on!!!

I had NO clue where we were going!!!
Tab drove us around and around like a crazy person and when I took my blindfold off I saw….
 a SURPRISE PIRATE PARTY!!

Everyone was in costume!!  It was HILARIOUS!!!

Marla went ALL out with the pirate decor!  I loved the wigs, hats, and the glow-in-the-dark jewelry!!

We had DELICIOUS pirate cupcakes and ice cream!!

The kiddos each had a treat bag with goodies!

It was SUCH a fun night!!!

Thanks so much for making my surprise party SO special!!!  XOXO

How fun!!! My grandmother used to take all of us girls in the family to Dallas to shop every year! I remember thinking I was so cool one year when she got me a juicy couture sweat suit 🙂
