2015 Favorites

Happy New Year’s Eve!!  Today, Andrea, Narci, and I are sharing our Favorite Moments of 2015! You should link-up and join us!!

I tried to keep mine short and sweet, but it was impossible!  I had so much I wanted to share!

My very favorite moments of 2015…
This cutie and I got to have a little grown-up getaway to the Citrus Bowl.

Ebby Lee celebrated the 100th Day of Kindergarten by dressing up like a 100-year-old lady.  I think she nailed it.  ðŸ™‚

Valentine’s Day weekend started off with a dance at Ebby Lee’s school.

Then we ended the weekend of love with a trip to the Heard Museum.

We spent the rest of February doing our best to stay warm amidst the many snowfalls we received!

In March, we made it to a Mav’s game (minus Bowen).  These big kids totally got into and were screaming by the end of the night.

We had one more killer snow fall and we took advantage at the best hill in McKinney.

My favorite baseball player started up another spring season and we enjoyed watching him every chance we got.

And we had the best day with family and friends celebrating Easter.

Miss Sassy turned 6 and was pumped because Tab got to be a Watch Dog at her school that day!

This handsome guy turned 5 and we celebrated with a birthday trip to the zoo!

We all took a weekend trip to Austin to watch Tab work the spring football game.

Nixon graduated from preschool and was ready for kindergarten!

We watched this beauty dance in the spring recital.

Family vacation in Destin, Florida, for a week was so much fun!

We celebrated Independence Day with our hometown parade, a cookout at the pool, and followed it all up by fireworks with friends.

We moved this summer and these three couldn’t get their hineys in our new pool fast enough.  Summer evenings were spent in our new backyard.

Lots and lots of this happened over the summer.  If you were looking for a Slaughter, you should have tried the pool.  ðŸ™‚

I met up with two of my college roommates in Texarkana (halfway) for girl-talk ALL WEEKEND LONG!

We had a fabulous week in Missouri with family.

We sent these two off to first grade (Ebby Lee) and kindergarten (Nixon).

I spent the weekend in Austin, Texas, learning more about Rodan + Fields’ and getting to hang out with some amazing women.

I got to watch this stud play another season of baseball!

We took the Texas State Fair by storm…kind of….actually I’ll always remember the 2015 Fair trip as the year the stroller was stolen…haha!  I wish some of you would have been with us.  I have no doubt you would have gotten that stroller back.  You guys were passionate!!  And I LOVED it!  ðŸ™‚

We soaked up every minute of the beautiful weather by being outside as much as possible…even during meal times. 🙂

We Halloween’d it up ALL WEEKEND LONG from parties to trunk or treats to trick or treating.  A GREAT Halloween is in the books.

We tagged along to Tab’s football game in Kansas City and had the best little weekend enjoying the town.

Thanksgiving week started out with a road trip to visit family in East Texas.

Followed by our own Thanksgiving traditions here in McKinney.

Bowen turned THREE on Black Friday and we partied hard with a trip to Bass Pro followed by a little Disney on Ice.

We made the most of the Christmas season with a visit to Santa, lots of Christmas light looking, way too much hot cocoa to count, and anything else Christmas we could fit in.

And we got to watch this sweet girl dance her little heart out during the Nutcracker.

2015 was a great year for the Slaughters.

We had our fair share of ups and downs, but we’re praying for a fabulous 2016.  Excited to see HIS big plans!  XOXO

Happy NEW YEAR’S EVE!!!
